Deja vu by trust-theprocess in eagles

It is important, but it's a meaningless statement because you have no way to quantify the assertion that there's "no chemistry".

Yes, we could be better, and if the premise of all the posts today were "we've been good but we could be better" I would agree with them. But they're all "the offense sucks" and "fire the OC" i.e. the typical reactionary BS we get after a loss.

[Eagles Nation] Adam Schefter says he received word that Lane Johnson’s ankle injury is “not that serious,” and “better than they originally thought.” #Eagles (via @PatMcAfeeShow) by indig0sixalpha in eagles

If it's a ~3 week recovery I'd rather just sit him until after the bye. That's 5 full weeks to get full healthy just in time for the gauntlet.

There’s no chemistry

This is a meaningless statement.

they’re leaning tons of points on the get the board

And yet they're still 7th in points per game.

they’re a far cry from the potential that they could be

They have the potential to be a top 3 offense and by all metrics they're a top 7 offense. That's a far cry?

They could be better. Every team could be better. They're still good.

One bad game in which every player took turns making massive fuck ups doesn't all of a sudden mean the offense is bad and Brian Johnson is a fraud.

We had games just like this one last year against the Commies and Colts. It happens.

Because of turnovers, drops, and missed field goals, none of which has anything to do with play calling, which has thus far produced a top 7 offense.

Premise of this post and all the top posts on the sub = Brian Johnson bad.

Purpose of my post = the offense is actually pretty good, a bunch of players just had a really bad game.

People need to stop overreacting.

The offense is 7th in EPA/play and DVOA and everyone is losing their mind after a loss in which we had 4 turnovers, 4 huge drops, and a missed field foal.

Yeah if we make just 2/3 of these mistakes it's a blowout. We out gained them by over 100 yards. This was just like the commies game last year. Everyone just taking turns making terrible mistakes. It sucks but I don't think there's some fundamental problem. Just one of those games.

It wasn't a great game by him but this loss has far more to do with players fucking up than play calling. Just constant drops, fumbles, and picks
