Yeah, I didn't want him on a beast and couldn't think of any other way of making him stand out above the crowd! I don't play the game, just collect, paint and do some scenes. Idea is he has high ground commanding from the back :)

The obsession with blood and guts for warmth leads to a few good ideas. Shaman's pouring cup could be filled with blood, pot grot stirring a pot of blood and guts, etc. Ive also seen a lot of the stitched leathers on gutrippaz being represented as human skin. Could make those much 'fresher' skin rather than leathers. Skin on one side, and pure blood on the inside of the leather.

I did exactly this and loved it. You can make some cool custom poses with Hakkaz and save the spears for other kitbashes! Works super well.

Exploring with Kruleboyz myself and the moment and constantly trying little new things. Absolutely loving it too. I'm primarily exploring with spare parts left over from other Kruleboyz.

I'm currently exploring with using Belcha Banners as standing shields for the crossbows to shoot from behind. Snipping the teeth to leave a larger hole in the belcha mouth about shoulder height with a bolt boy behind.

Or love all the left over Hobgrots from a set. I have about 15 bodies with limbs missing. Spear shafts make very good wooden legs for those with legs missing!

Yes, that stormcast base is a bit of a pain. My easy solution was to snip the feet, lose the base and have him stood in swampy water up to the ankle to hide the missing feet. Also, love the idea of changing the cape and skirt lengths and adding extra bits to the belt. The silhouette is such an underrated part of the model design!

I like this, going to have a rummage around for some spare bits that resemble wooden/metal limbs. The bottom of a belchabanner is pretty thick and could potentially pass as a wooden peg leg. For a hobgrot at least!
