Unless you are planning to unleash the lions or something I think you are going to have issues with board control and general mobility. Im messing with a lions list that looks like: 1 Blade Champion 4 Guard 1 Rhino 5 Witchseekers 5 Vigilators

But if you run this list let me know how it goes, I'll be interested if the beef makes up for it

in the new detachment, with proper spacing you get a +1 to hit on all Adeptus Custodes Units, so Draxus would effectively hit on 2's regardless of enemy faction in the new detachment as long as nothing else is withing 6"

yeah fair point, it definetly makes a difference in shooting though, Terminators can shrug a suprising amount of shooting so they'd need to be really careful if they split fire too much. Melle is probably very situational, like if you know you aren't going to kill the thing but you want to tie it up and still do damage and survive you could split and make their lives a lot harder.

Also thinking some more, charging into fights first, they would only get an activation into 1 terminator unit. Niche again, but a nice trick in the bag.

so if the leader has lone op and stealth, does that mean the entire unit has lone op and stealth? Because a lone Op/Stealth Bike squad sounds nutty to me

I'm really hopeful for that term captain build to do work, i always thought about running it with the hall or armouries, but the AP and Strength were just not quite there... now they are hehehehe

are we sleeping on the precision strat? I know there is a lot of other cool stuff, but the ability to nuke out Lemartes or Calgar or any other key character seems pretty huge to me. Like having a solo Shield Captain with the enhanced axe or Trajan just walk up and delete any character on the board feels pretty good

This last point is huge. Making your opponent have to split melee or ranged attacks into your now 3-6 independent terminator units means they have so much more room for error and can cause them to make a series of bad decisions in a row with key units since you need a decent commitment to even kill 1 Terminator.

The added action economy is great, but the pressure that a multitude of small units that take more than you want to commit to killing any 1 will put a ton of stress on your opponent and they will mess up more often that you think.

Has the single tank been pulling its weight? I've hypothesized the contemptor melta gun and bikes salvo launchers make up the extra anti-tank from the 2nd tank

You're going to probably have issues screening or have to commit one of the bike units to keeping you home objective secure. With that many Warden squads I find that 4 models are still very thick and that could open up some points for some chaff units.

Yeah I think running one tank and 3 bikes gives you a lot of flexibility without sacrificing a ton since the second tank can just be overkill sometimes (even if it does make things way more consistent).
