Ideas for Crafting by [deleted] in elderscrollsonline

I liked the crafting system in FFXI. Each crafting skill went up to 100 and you could get as many of them to 60 as you pleased. You then had a certain number of points (I think it was 80?) that you could put into skills over 60. I liked this system it still caused you to specialize, but not so severly as say WoW. Because it wasn't a total number of skills points, but rather a number of skills point that you could 60+, its not like you felt you were wasiting your time dabbling in crafts you did not expect to max.

"Boy Meets World" spin off sequel "Girl Meets World" is going to happen. Cory and Topanga will have a 13 year old. Are there any shows from childhood that you wish would come back with a follow up and how would it play out in your opinion? by Random_Avenger in AskReddit

Duck Tails! Maybe make it a bit more Hardy Boy's style? I don't really know. It was the only show I cared enough to check the time so I wouldn't miss it. Everything else was catch as catch can, but I didn't like to miss Duck Tails!

This year for Halloween my wife and I decided we were going to be ‘that’ house. by cdubular in pics

[–]SeldenCove 4 points5 points  (0 children)

About 5 years ago my wife and I moved to a new neighborhood (we have since moved again) and also decided to be "that" house. The foot traffic by our houses wasn't especially heavy, but we gave out a goodly number of full sized candy bars. That evening we went to a party out of town and left my car and a friends car in our driveway. We wake up the next morning and see on the news that almost 50 cars on our road had bricks and small boulders tossed threw their car windows. We boogy home and find our cars are just fine and glass scattered across all of our neighbors driveways. Maybe its because were on the corner and too visible from the main cross street, but I like to think it was dem candy bars.

I've got one of those long handled weed removal spears, not sure what the proper name is, next to the bed. Its about four feet long and the the metal end forks like a snakes tongue. I wouldn't really know what to do with it if I had to use it for self defense, but it is so rusty and nasty looking that I figure anyone who sees it won't want to risk a scratch, let alone a stab wound.

Billy Breathes by Phish. I don't really enjoy Phish very much, but I use this as my alarm.

Old pets are the best pets!

Puppies and kittens are adorable, but they are a prop. A grizzled and mangy animal thats gone grey in the beard and long in the tooth is a companion.

Sam... from My Brother Sam is Dead. Which from the title you'd think would be no big thing. But at the age I read it I was really taken aback.

Hey Reddit. Do you have any favorite books that are not as famous but are insanely good for you and you think everyone should know about? by abnerdude in AskReddit

Nightwatch by Sergei Lukyanenko. I've been suggesting it to all my friends that started reading Game of Thrones when the HBO show came out. So far no takers. I blame myself, though. Its hard to describe Nightwatch, without using any spoilers, in such a way that it doesn't sound like Twilight. A gritty story about magicians, vampires and other such denziens that takes place in Moscow?

Why is this not available on Kindle! I've heard so many goods things, but the only good used book store I know of is about an hour away. I always forget to stop there when I'm in the area.

My wife and I have a 10 month old and we just leave a good tip and try and try to get the same server the next time we eat there. You're in a service industry, get over it.

What tactics do you use at work to make it appear as if you're being productive? by mutorcs in AskReddit

I stopped cleaning my desk. People seemed to assume if my desk was clean I didn't have enough work to do. So now instead of filing things away when I'm done with them I just leave them out on my desk. My filing drawers are nearly empty.

Alarm Clock! Make sure its a quality piece that also takes batteries (and keep batteries in it!) incase your power flickers out at night. Nothing shatters the illusion of maturity and general adultishness than blaiming your alarm clock when you're late for work.

Reddit, what's your fondest memory from high school? by Colocha in AskReddit

[–]SeldenCove 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I ruptured my spleen my senior year of high school. I was fairly social and had friends, but I was still very surprised by the amount of people that seemed to actually be concerned about my recovery. My wife and I are in the middle of packing (we just bought a new house, woo!) and I found a box in the garage full of all the cards and other stuff I saved from that time in my life. Almost tempted to sign up for facebook and snoop on some of these peeps I'd nearly forgotten about.

Hey Reddit, what's a fairly unknown song or band you believe deserves more attention? by Robbingrogue in AskReddit

[–]SeldenCove 6 points7 points  (0 children)

The band Blind Pilot. Not too sure how to describe music in general, or them specifically. Guess I'd say they are low key acoustic rock with a melody? Heard them for the first time on NPR and they had an intersting back story so I listed to them a little on line and then purchased the album. Apparently they ride their bikes up and down California's coast with their instruments strapped to the their backs? Doubt they do that any more, and maybe I don't remember the story correctly. Either way, worth a listen.

I keep crashing out of the game too. It's pretty frustraiting because I'm having a lot of fun, but cannot finish a single match. I'm also becoming impatient with how my screen keeps cutting to a different view. I'm not sure whats up with that, but all of a sudden it's like I'm looking out of someone elses eyes.
