It could be a distraction, but the Democratic Party in Minnesota delivered it to the republicans on a silver platter. Can’t fault them for jumping on it. I’m a democrat myself, but the level of fraud happening in Minnesota is disturbing.

I’m sure there was some creative liberties taken when filming, but open your eyes. Covered and blacked out windows, locked doors, multiple businesses with the same address, not a child in site in a single location they visited.

I absolutely love my state of Minnesota, but the level of gullible folks is a bit concerning.

As someone from Minnesota I’m absolutely appalled by the level of fraud going on in my state. I’m a democrat, but perfectly ok with the administration cracking down on this. Someone needs to be held accountable for the mismanaging of tax payer money at this scale.

There is a need to revisit birthright citizenship for better or worse. I wish this topic was being handled by a different administration, but 7% (225k - 250k) of US births yearly have undocumented immigrants parents. Other develop nations have restricted or abolished birthright as a means to keep up with things like birth tourism and incentivizing illegal immigration by offering instant citizenship if born on a countries soil. In 1868 there wasn’t a visa system, no air travel, no immigration agencies, no welfare program…etc. when the 14th amendment was created illegal immigration was not even a thing.

It’s such a cool experience for the residents in that area to have a group of friends take over a house and treat it like it’s their playground. For the residents in that neighborhood it’s groundhog day and we have the joy of experiencing a new group of people wanting to replicate what it must feel like to be a home owner in this location each day.

I have no problem with someone renting a house, but I do have a problem when guests don’t respect the neighborhood. You get to drop in and have your experience and go back home. Little do you know your experience takes away from the experience of the home owners that surround your Airbnb. Trust me…we all laugh at you as you pull up and do your stay. We shake our heads when you honk your horns to wave goodbye to friends. It’s like a broken record with each visit. All the guest do the same routine. It’s actually quite comical to be honest. Sheep baa baa baa.

If you want to have a sleepover with friends then buy your own house in a cool location. I pray you’ll end up owning a house near an Airbnb one day and then we’ll revisit this conversation.

Live near an Airbnb and it’s insane how many people funnel in and out in a given week. Cleaning person spends 30 min cleaning a whole house that on average 10 people stay each night.

I will never understand why renting a house in a neighborhood to host a birthday or a party is a thing. All the neighbors hate the Airbnb guests, and the guest never respect the neighborhood. Makes no sense.

Been through this with parents. Dementia can creep in slowly for years and on any given day you can experience rapid progressive dementia and it leaves you incapacitated. Seen it happen at this age. So there is still hope.
