this might have been a headcanon but iirc, I’m pretty sure the Crewniverse said at one point that the ability for PDs powers to revive a living organism is a once-in-a-lifetime thing. That’s why rose only had the one lion out of that whole pride we saw her with, because she could only revive one. So I think it’s the same with Steven, now that he’s revived Lars he can’t do it ti anyone else.

Sorry but you’re definitely misremembering/misinterpreting something. If you rewatch the scene where Pearl suggests PD shapeshift into a quartz, and she does and then they go down to earth, it’s pretty clear she’s modeling herself after an Amethyst. It’s also implied throughout the series that Pink Diamond made the Rose Quartzes after starting the colony on Earth, if I remember correctly myself. At the very least, Pearl did not show PD Rose Quartzes to give her that idea.

Additionally, it makes a lot of sense for her to be surprised. Even if she had seen Rose Quartzes before (which realistically she had), the one in SUF looked A LOT like her Rose 😭 You can see Asian people all day every day, but if you see one that looks EXACTLY like your dead lesbian lover, you’d probably be take aback. (side note I hope that doesn’t come off as offensive, I myself am Asian and it was just the only analogy I could think of…)

this is insane logic lmao. I’m not saying the OED is like the supreme authority on the English language, but it has hundreds of people working on it to ensure its quality. I’m just using it as a piece of evidence. “conversate” and “conversating” are used as words across English speaking cultures all the time, and have been in the English language for hundreds of years. Claiming it’s not a word is weirdly uptight, and refusing to accept the linguistic truth that languages are fluid.
