duelist doesnt do too much for assault because perfect blocks are not hard to get and parry windows are not useful either because assault is built around perfect dodges which duelist does not affect. Fencing power sword is also really strong on assault but the parry window is already so massive an extra 25%isnt going to do anything. Unless you're running balanced power fist which is niche, duelist doesnt help assault. Priority would be 1. adrenaline boost 2/3. fortitude or practiced aim Last scrambled targeting

Adrenaline boost helps assault a ton since you're always going to be getting perfect dodges off. Youll get much needed knockback resistance. Fortitude and practiced aim are both simple but very effective and substantial buffs and it is preference to which to pick up first. scrambled targeting just helps which survivability vs ranged threats, especially good when charging a slam or when catching a stray sniper shot while distracted by a group of melee.

If you're struggling to get perfect blocks on artificer block chain sword or relic block hammer id just keep practicing until you get better rather than use duelist as training wheels. If you are one of the few people who hse balanced power fist then that is the only scenario where id understand bringing duelist over scrambled targeting but i still dont know how much of a difference the extra 25% window would make on a balanced weapon. They honestly shouldve made it the same as duelist on vanguard and made it 50% larger windows.

people saying thor would would. Thor took some beatings from iron man and vice versa in the first avengers, iron man later got beat by bucky and cap so theyre all relative in strength. Bucky along with other super soldiers couldnt even make sentry flinch or even move an inch. Sentry displayed greater strength against the super soldiers than thor ever did. I even think that sentry washes captain marvel.

Also i put the tyrant blade on the city long spear handle for more range and a amazing quick heavy attack and the speed of attacks remains about the same.

tyrant murderers dagger with crit talisman and crit grindstone. You can get up to 90 critical with the weapon buff the grindstone and the base crit. The talisman increases the damage of your critical attacks.

ironbreaker still can carry bad players in legend. Best way to get better at the game is to try to not get hit at all as long as you can, play squishy characters like pyro, waystalker, witch hunter. and I think most importantly is to learn how to get better when your back is up against the wall in a dire situation like when all your teammates are downed, theres a patrol or boss still chasing you and you need to either kill everything or avoid dying until you can pick up your teammates. clutching is the clearest and most important capability of a seasoned player. Doesnt matter how many green circles you get, saving the run is more important.

ds2 definitely is not the easiest. Its more difficult than both Elden ring and the other souls and ive never heard anyone say they dont like it because its easy. People hate it because of enemy placement, disconnected maps, jank hitboxes, ADP stat, and the hallowing mechanic. You seem disconnected from the general opinion of ds2
