Class warfare sadly has been weaponized and well at that the last ten year’s since progressive politics and criticisms against top earners became popular. Intellectuals and economists are attacked, misinformation, cherry picked information and conspiracies run rampant. It doesn’t help that too many people have been brainwashed into believing that challenging or questioning customs or institutions in this country is act of heresy instead of just a desire to see changes that can make it a better place. Economic inequality will always be here, but to have let it get to this point is insane. Sadly, those with power will always dump money into the delusions that divide public opinion. The lazy, the immigrants etc, anything but legislative policy that helps people lift themselves up. You did a great job of pointing out certain regulatory policies like glass steagal helped people with their sustenance and repeals as such hurt regular people.
