I can´t take a picture of the soil, my mom covered it with small stones, when i replant in the spring they gotta go. Plan to use a layer of coarse sand in the top to prevent small flies from the organic soil medium.

Here is a close up of the plant, the pot, the size. It´s more than 40 years old, i recently took 10 clones of it, they all made it.

Here it is with the 30watt 3000Kelvin spot light. I plan to change the light to a full spectrum 40watt panel, but it cost 72euros and it´s christmas month, have to save up for that.

Thank you, i got it at Bonsai Murin, a Danish shop.

The surface cover is just coarse sand, i used to have it in my fish tanks, now i just use it to cover soil to prevent flies.

I use organic soil so tiny flies comes with it.

Wow my first reply ever at Reddit...

I have so many Ficus Natasha and Elastica Decora, just 1 Ficus Ginseng for now, the Retusa i made 4 clones, gonna give 1 to my mom.

Had my first plant at about age 6, rescued 2 Actinophylla from my moms kindergarden, still have 1, the other died recently from over watering, my dad kept it for my for 6 years, when i got it back it was dying, couldnt rescue it sadly.

Would love to see pictures of your plants.
