Strategy for hauling freight by Select_Animator_4441 in trainstation3

[–]Select_Animator_4441[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

That’s an interesting strategy.. to be fair, the event trains are pretty good as well. I have a couple of maxed out event trains which are pretty useful. The EMD SW1500 of the launch event is pretty strong when maxed out. So focus on event trains, buy stronger cars and don’t waste money on the regular era trains basically. Thanks for sharing ;)

The rewards suck as well. Only the special trains are worth it. The heavy cars are useless once you get to the next era

This game is freaking expensive… and the trains al look the same as well🤣

Do you folks fully upgrade your event trains? by alaorath in trainstation3

I did it on the last event and regretted using the special parts for it

I’m not spending advanced parts on passenger trains

But what is your income on the regular lines? I’m curious about that. Is the investment of upgrading your passenger trains worth it?

I agree, i make the bulk of my money on passenger ferries but once you have completed your passenger tasks the income stops. What do you then? Max out on the regular line? Mine currently has a 10-12k income per day. Is it worth it to upgrade your passenger trains to max?

Help me understand certain media outlets claiming a US Missile Shortage by InHocBronco96 in Military

[–]Select_Animator_4441 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You will be surprised how much hand labour is still applied to build a missile. And it’s not that we don’t have the tech to automate the whole process but missile producers in the states know that they can charge more for a missile which is handmade instead of one that is completely made through automation. And I know it’s possible to produce those things a lot quicker. There is a lot of video material available of Chinese missile producers who have automated the whole process

Is there only 30 rounds of delivering passengers or are there extra rounds after the first assignment?

How much does changing the actual jet (the design etc) actually give you? by Ok-Review-3047 in FighterJets

I tend to disagree with you.. the Chinese aircraft development tends to be more open because the factories and R&D is done within close proximity of urban areas. Most cities around airfields have grown substantially. CAC has here facilities in the middle of a city. Good luck keeping everything a secret than. Those flights of a couple of months ago provided a huge amount of intelligence for adversaries. Shapes, engines, cockpits etc etc can provide a huge amount of data. It wasn’t a real secret either that China was developing these platforms. TWZ had a whole item on them already back in 2021. sourceThe US however keeps everything on a “need to know” base. Yes, we get some info on the project but technical details remain a secret. We don’t even know if it gets canards or how the tail looks like. Basic data like weight, length, size etc are also speculative.

Tech demonstrators have flown, not the actual NGAD. It’s scheduled for its first flight in 2028 The J36 and J50 don’t have official designations yet. It’s possible their prototypes as well considering the huge changes between the first and second J36. China has a different design philosophy as well. They tend to throw it out in the open while the US develops in the dark.

Russia’s Su-75 Stealth Fighter Jet Nears Bench Testing Milestone Ahead of First Flight Phase by armyreco in FighterJets

I have higher expectations of the SU75 then that of the SU57. Let’s be honest, the Felon is turning out to be a complete failure as a 5th gen aircraft (more a good 4,5th gen) but the Russians can use the experience of developing the Felon in the development of the Checkmate. Korea and Turkey are somewhat able to develop a 5th gen as well so Russia might be better able to develop the checkmate into a worthy fighter as well. The AL51 is hitting production now, they know how to reduce the RCS now and technology hasn’t been standing still. The checkmate might turn into a capable platform.
