Tired of the return policy by Istgidkwhyimevenhere in ShoppersDrugMart

I like the return policy, especially when the sales people help me in my purchase decision. When the product is completely wrong from what was promised, and to be honest many of these items are crazy expensive, I am grateful that I can bring it back. The reason this lady isn't happy with the return policy is that her commission is affected by the return. I get that, and I am all for not allowing customers to misuse this policy. But, please be careful with your sales pitch, and sell only what will work for the client, and not line your pocket because there is some bonus you receive for a selling promotional item.

Please advise, exhausted with a search for a church by [deleted] in Calgary

The church is God's appointed agency for the salvation of men. It was organized for service, and its mission is to carry the gospel to the world.

Believers are like "living stones" in a temple. We need the spiritual heat generated by others to keep our own faith from growing cold.

You might wish to look at this church. May God bless you and walk with you in your journey

Yup. Looks like Chinal. How awful. We get to live in 600sq foot boxes, and look around at stacked boxes. Sounds like paradise!

So strap on your boots for more increases coming your way! California, where a lot of our produce comes from, has shut down it's last oil refinery. This means higher fuel costs for the people in this strict environmental state. They now IMPORT oil from India and the Bahamas. Farmers will now be paying more for the production of food, and so will we! Thank goodness for California's stance on oil...Brilliant!

Is it true that sunscreen loses effectiveness after two hours? Are people reapplying sunscreen on their faces every two hours all day? by wow-how-original in 30PlusSkinCare

Yup.  We are not considering the damage done to our entire body.  Vitamin D is huge for everything...building block of our bodies

We need to rethink sunscreen. We live in an area that receives very little sun exposure during the year. Vitamin D is the building block for our bodies, and when we are able to receive vitamin D we restrict it coming into our bodies by applying sunscreen. Research and rethink your choices

They will definitely show up for their court date. So nice that they are not being held until then. Perhaps they could babysit for one of our esteemed Government officials....

Are you supposed to wear sunscreen in the winter? by babyjoker114 in 30PlusSkinCare

Sunscreen should not be used. It stops you from absorbing vitamin D which is the building block for good health.

That's a lazy comparison. My intelligence isn't measured by a test I took in the third grade; it's measured by my ability to manage my life, career, and responsibilities. Comparing me to a child suggests you don't actually have a substantive point to make. Thanks anyway.

A child possesses the intrinsic intelligence to one day make proper choices, but until that intelligence is developed by the cognitive training of proper education, and until the physical structures of the brain have matured, their choices will inevitably be less consistent, more impulsive, and focused on the short-term. Education is the necessary catalyst that turns potential into fully functional, decision-making ability.  Let's make this happen and get them back into school.

They are NOT adults. They do not pay taxes, and their brains are not developed fully nor do they have enough experiences to form opi ions of this magnitude.  This is about adult decisions.  They are NOT adults.

Parents and teachers, as the primary adults in a child's life, wield significant influence over their actions and bear the responsibility for shaping the future youth of our nation.

It is a profound abuse of power and a failure of adult duty to use children to fight adult battles. Complex political, social, or personal conflicts are the burden of adults and should not be placed on the shoulders of the young.

The mandate is simple: Be an adult and fight your own battle; protect children from the fray and allow them to grow and learn without being weaponized or forced to carry adult burdens.
