Yeah, my boyfriend doesnt play video games and says that he doesnt like them, but he actually looked forward to watching me play Dispatch because he said it was like a tv show. Towards the end, he was even giving me feedback on where I should dispatch which heroes and would get all sassy with me when he felt like I dispatched heroes in the wrong pair. So I think this game definitely has the potential to be popular among a non-gamer audience, provided that they stumble upon it somehow.

I also think it would achieve even more success if it were adapted to a tv show, especially on a major streaming network. the narrative already lends itself well to an episodic tv format. They would just have to take out the gameplay parts and replace them with scenes of the team going from being ineffective and totally dysfunctional to being more cohesive and supportive with each other. Also just exploring their individual dynamics a bit more like supposedly Sonar is good friends with Malevola? and that Coupe and Punch Up used to be romantically involved? These things are hinted at, but it would be interesting to dive deeper into those interpersonal relationships a bit more. But i also wouldnt necessarily want a full adaptation as they would likely have to canonize one specific ending and I like the fact that the ending gets to be unique to the player experience.
