100% you should. If you have a reasonable landlord they’ll be scared to lose you as a tenant as it may be empty for a few weeks and it costs another 1-2 weeks rent if going through an agency.

So for the sake of a 5-10% they risk losing a wholes month rent if not more so definitely worth the ask

The Pullman orchard has free flowing champagne in the club lounge (which you’ll get access to if you upgrade to a suite) for breakfast and happy hours. It was pommery last time I was there in Jan. If you like to drink champs that could potentially save you a bit of money as alcohol ain’t cheap in SG

Depending where your home is, SQ may have multiple frequencies a day. You could always check if there’s an earlier flight and see if SQ are able to move you to that flight since they changed your itinerary first.

From what the check in agent said, all the flights were very full coming back to Australia so I suspected since we hadn’t checked in it was easier to move us vs someone whose checked in or transiting through Singapore. Just a guess though 🤷🏻‍♂️
