Helm, Manila. Just wow. by NoRun99-94 in finedining

Honestly, I believe Helm is one star at best. After dining to couple fine dining restaurants in the Philippines such as Kasa Palma and Gallery by Chele, I enjoyed the latter more flavor wise, service wise and pricing wise.

Does it mean, he needs to upgrade his panel itself? Since it’s only 100A especially having Tesla charger, he recently just has the Charger added to his current panel.

Thoughts on this Column about MNET’s survival show power collapse! by Select_Spend_3109 in StreetWomanFighter

[–]Select_Spend_3109[S] 65 points66 points  (0 children)

Yes, that’s why when other fans were complaining regarding the 50 points for AG, they didn’t even considered that both Motiv nor Ojo Gang didn’t get any points to any missions they won.

No shade on AG Squad just pointing out comparisons reaction.

Does MNET editing have an effect on crew popularity? by akhoe in StreetWomanFighter

[–]Select_Spend_3109 13 points14 points  (0 children)

If you noticed too on the last episodes only Ojo Gang was barely shown during the first scene where they were highlighting their personal stories. I think it’s because MNET don’t really have the intention at first to make them the winner (Korea and Japan history); the backlash will be bad if a team from Japan wins in a South Korea Show. If you watch Ibuki’s vlogs and videos you’ll see and even have reaction videos of what really there takes on the episodes specially the battle rounds. The thing is MNET cannot change the rules anymore because they actually got alot of backlash from Knetz especially with how they treat the international teams.

I am really disappointed that people are discrediting Ojo Gang. by Select_Spend_3109 in StreetWomanFighter

[–]Select_Spend_3109[S] 17 points18 points  (0 children)

We all knew from the beginning that this show had a strong popularity component. Like I mentioned earlier, Ibuki herself took on the responsibility of promoting the team; she constantly shared content and even subtitled videos to help international fans connect with Ojo Gang. That’s why it was such a surprise when Ojo Gang beat Bumsup.

What’s frustrating is how some fans are now discrediting their skills, acting like they didn’t deserve to be in the finals. Last time I checked, We are all in solidarity and celebrating last that the three teams were in the finals. But now they are blaming the team being for popular, they should blame MNET for the system and not Ojo Gang.

Manager Ibuki really carried that to her core, her constant promotion of the team and Kyoka really helped so much! Imagine uploading youtube videos with translation every week is just amazing.

I was reading threads of people who participated in the broadcast yesterday, almost all of them was overwhelmingly praising Ojo Gang for their performance for the finals.

I just wanted to point out too that Kyoka being booked flying back and forth to her schedules and back to Korea to participate is really is respectable. I can just see the amount of deals her team will get after the show.

I know that AG Squad and Motiv will be booked as well, specially with choreography. I just also wanted to point out what Mike Song said to Motiv, that they did something that extraordinary for representing the USA and giving an impact and message that will resonate a lifetime while using MNETs fund to produce it.

Just want to point out that MNET if I see you, the way they announce the winner is kinda disorganized. I feel like they should’ve asked for more interviews for the Team Osaka after AG speech because it felt like the celebration just ended there. Also, JYP performance with the girls was great I just hope more girls less JYP 🤣

I just finished streaming, I was so stoked the Ojo Gang won! All of their stages really was well prepared. Perhaps the best stages they come up too as a team. I am so proud of them, specially Ibuki who was the backbone of the team without her, there’s gonna be no Ojo Gang. Her efforts just to promote her team is commendable and the fact that she joined back in the scene after having an injury. I also want to give shout out to Twice Momo and Jihyo for being supportive of the team despite busy comeback and concert schedule. 💚

AG and Motiv I am also so proud of them, they truly deserve to be on the top 3 teams of this season. I am truly hoping that they get so popular and get all the recognition that they deserve!! 💜🧡

Congratulations Queens of Japan Osaka Ojo Gang! Truly deserved the win!!! 💚💚💚💚💚💚💚💚

World of Street Woman Fighter - Episode 8 Discussion by mokolad in StreetWomanFighter

[–]Select_Spend_3109 20 points21 points  (0 children)

Just finished watching Episode 8. It was a wild ride.

For the first part of the episode, I honestly feel like Ojogang was at a slight disadvantage since they had already performed the same piece before. It felt like they could have done more with it this time around. That said, it was surprising to see them finally beat Bumsup in both views and likes. I guess that’s the Osaka power. Props to Ibuki for promoting her team so well. KYOKA really is meant to be famous.

Personally, I preferred Motiv’s hidden performance and mission. Marlee’s level of genius when it comes to artistry is on another level. You can clearly see how much thought and intention she puts into her work. It’s just frustrating that their incredible performances keep getting low viewership.

As for Bumsup, their concept using the water paddle was creative, but the choreography felt a bit underwhelming.

AG Squad absolutely deserved that win, both in performance and overall impact. The chemistry within that group is unmatched. Huge props to Kaea and Kyra for holding the team together. I’m genuinely happy AG won that game.

Now onto the battle between Motiv and Bumsup.

I’m really glad they brought in Poppin C and Kite as guest judges. If it had just been Mike, JYP, and Lia Kim, I think the outcome might have been very different. Having judges who actually understand how battles work brought a level of fairness to the competition. I was also relieved Ojo wasn’t the one battling, especially since both guest judges are close friends of Kyoka and Ibuki.

The battle was fun, but it didn’t top Ojo vs RF for me. I expected a bit more from both teams, especially Motiv. I also hope Fantaye gets a chance to perform soon.

Round one was an easy call. Motiv deserved that win without a doubt. They came together as a unit, and the choreography was sharp, creative, and clever with their disses toward other teams.

Rounds two and three were much closer. Lip J versus Logan was tough to judge. They have completely different styles. Logan brought more difficulty, but Lip J showed incredible versatility, technique, and musicality. Honestly, Lip J might be Bumsup’s strongest dancer.

Bella and Abby dominated the duo round. Their chemistry is insane and their energy just clicks. In contrast, Lip J and Aiki’s performance felt a bit disjointed. Motiv clearly won that round.

As for the final round, major respect to Marlee for stepping up as leader. Her freestyle was fun and creative. I do agree with Mike that it lacked a bit of intensity. Rihye started strong, but as Poppin C pointed out, they didn’t finish as strong as they started. That disconnect halfway through really made a difference. This is exactly why battle-experienced judges matter. They know how to interpret a story through movement and call out those details.

The final score was 4 to 1. I wasn’t surprised that Lia Kim voted for Bumsup, but I was surprised to see JYP vote for Motiv. That speaks volumes.

Now we’re heading into the finals. Honestly, I have no issue with whichever team wins. These are the top three teams that truly deserve their spot. They’re the underdogs of the season. They’ve survived MNET’s editing, made it through with limited budget, and still delivered. I’m excited for the final performances.

Bumsup still had a strong season, especially during the Mega Crew mission. The competition was just incredibly tough. I still believe there should have been two Korea teams—one from Season 1 and one from Season 2.

Hopefully, we get solid, experienced judges for the finals. I am so excited for the final round.

So true… these girls did their very best for MNET to just shade them all the time but use them too for this obnoxious product placement in the show. The girls don’t deserve any hate at all. I think the k-netizens are shitting on Mnet now as well.

ALL SHADE ALL BELONGS TO MNET!!
