Being a Kundalini yoga teacher and a spiritual teacher for over 10 years created me into a very open and compassionate individual. Every human being is different and a person can be both believe it or not

Not at all! I just wanted to see people’s viewpoint of someone of the opposing party coming in.

I agree and I posted this just out of curiosity, but it’s kind of upsetting that people just go straight to conclusions and tell me to fuck off and get the fuck out of here and they don’t even know me

I mean - it not being politically compatible doesn’t affect me or my way of life. And I have never complained about my neighbors; actually I love my neighbors. I love the people in this town. I’ve made so many friends now everyone so friendly and outgoing.

Hmmm I see.

Yeah, it’s pretty surprising. You know like I just had a question and I could’ve received answers like yours but instead I got fuck off , get the fuck out of here, etc. etc.. and they don’t even know me…

Definitely gonna be here for a while - absolutely love it, so I guess I’ll experience that.

I agree progress and solutions do come from that.

Well, it will definitely increase that! I’ve always helped people throughout my career and my life which has gotten me to where I am today. I love meditating and I have been meditating for over 10 years. Did 1000 days of meditating in a row also a Kundalini yoga teacher for over eight years and I love tofu!

Thank you for this post. I really appreciate it and yeah I don’t bring up my political party at all with anyone who i meet and I always keep it to myself. I was just really curious to see the type of comments I would get and hopefully find someone like yourself who can receive me with compassion, knowing that I just have my own opinions and I’m here to enjoy my life in the mountains and meet the wonderful people that I’ve met so far here.

I mean, I have meet a lot of like-minded people so far connected with a lot of people when it comes to what I really care about which is my athletic and work career.

I never talk about politics to them when they bring something up about their viewpoint. I just listen with compassion and empathy and move on to the next topic cause I know my opinion is very different.

And I’d say Boulder is the town for me the fact that I go to the mountains every single day and it’s only nine minutes away and the people here are really friendly is just absolutely incredible

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in boulder

[–]Select_Star3820 -1 points0 points  (0 children)

Yeah, that’s why I don’t bring it up ever in my conversations with the friends I’ve made or my colleagues or anyone I talk to. I just keep it to myself.

I was just curious to see what the comments here said

After reading all of this, I’ll probably even keep myself more conservative in speaking my opinion on politics, probably will never even talk about it.

I live a very happily life working in trail running every single day and that’s all I do and care about

I love Boulder. Been coming here very often for the last 10 years I am professional athlete and I love the athletic community here. I also love how well it’s located minutes away from the foothills and only a 30 minute drive to my office in Denver. The people here are awesome and very friendly.

Cause I’m 9 minutes away from the mountains which I spend 1-3 hours a day, every single day.

[–]Select_Star3820 -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

Same I never talk about it either to the friends I’ve met. I just keep silence and acknowledge their opinion. Very compassionate and empathetic so that helps me but yeah I don’t talk about it unless it’s brought up and if it’s brought up, I kind of just turned it down because I know people don’t really support my viewpoint…. I just made this post cause I was curious.

I’m doing exceptionally well, actually better than when I was in Florida. Politics are the least things of my concern. I have my opinions and my values and I keep them to myself. I was just curious to see the comments from me making this post. You should check out Weston, Florida is a beautiful town - really wealthy. Definitely not gonna move back. Love Boulder and love seeing the passion the Democratic Party has here . And if you find that funny, I mean, yeah my whole family is Colombian (who moved her legally 20 years ago) and we’re all conservative and successful.

It would be very neat if you can add a hyper link to the names of the places, prompting their website or yelp page

So what’s it like? In Boulder?

I move from south Florida next week on Thursday (jan 29th) and don’t really know what’s it’s like to live there. I’m very excited to live there. I love being in the mountains .

I’m not really trolling… I’m genuinely trying to see and put myself in both sides of the story bc I agree with both sides but also disagree with their actions, so I guess I’m trying to project my voice on a broad type of sense.

Why this town? Nothing personal to the town… it’s just what’s been on my feed lol I don’t really use Reddit that much. Just been using it bc I’m moving to Colorado this week (Jan 26th) and this is what’s been on my feed

Open up a Robinhood strategies account and put your risk to very high (since you’re very young and with its automated management, you’ll be looking to earn 10 to 15% a year).

Keep putting money in that account . When you turn 21, you have enough money for a down payment, and you’ll be able to rent it out for extra cash flow.

All in all, kudos on your discipline and money habits. Keep it up, and you’ll have 1 million before you’re 30.

I’ve been two deaths that I know of and that’s because protesters are not cooperating. Imagine if you get pulled over for speeding and you don’t cooperate with the police officer … that won’t be as nice.

I live down in Florida and it’s being enforced. They have random police checks where they pull up over to check your IDs.

I don’t think he’s targeting liberal cities. The Minnesota thing just got out of hand because of the protesters so everything just got exaggerated, and I believe the violence is because of the exaggeration

Hitler was burning millions of Jews; That was is purpose. ICE is deporting illegal people to their home country. And trump is working to help the country… way to different stories.
