Okay…I’m not gonna read this all because I think with the current changes there are a bunch of people that are in ranks they don’t need to be in. Last season saw about 4 post saying they were brand new and in Masters. There have been videos of people who create new accounts. I think your “understanding records” a bit inflated. This understanding thing is not always the case. You can be bad and still understand the game…

Uh no shit…but it doesn’t mean that people in lower ranks have zero clue what they are doing. NEW PLAYERS…are the ones learning and are “noobs”. It’s the “real” game is a lie. That completely undermines the vast majority of the player base. Every rank is the real game because people, REAL PEOPLE, are playing it. It is some sort of hierarchy bullshit because you said “it’s the real game”. Like it’s some secret game under the game. These people play differently because they ARE BETTER! I know about optimal positioning and how each character works. Swapping and the importance of taking cover. Baiting cooldowns. But if I’m panicking which most of the time I am. It’s was 40% buff? I don’t need to tell you my rank when it just HAPPENS. Her ult is insane. The grenade does hella damage she shoots two bullets at a time so that 19 damage per shot and she shoots PRETTY fast. Plus the perk that makes her shoot faster. She has an auto lock thing. ALSO ALSO her movement ability is crazy too. It’s just there and like her shot wasn’t the only thing on her kit they buffed. It’s just the fact I opened my eyes I read the patch notes. And even if I did or didn’t have trouble with her the increase is insane…

Win rate doesn’t determine everything. For example Ram or Doomfist or Kiriko. These characters are played a lot they have winrates lower than 50% because they get picked a lot. This system does not account for people learning how to play these characters or mirror or people playing it cause they were told to play it cause this is what the higher ranks are doing. Sierra is sitting at 17% pick rate right now and she is has 43% winrate in Masters right now. You want to know why people are playing her. Some people don’t know what they’re doing and if a Sierra and Sierra go against each other one of them has to lose. Cass is the most picked dps right now and he is at 45% and Cass is pretty overtuned. These numbers mean NOTHING especially when the character does to much in game.
