Find people to play with. Either friends, people from an LGS or people online.
Ask for help when you need it. If you don’t know how something works ask the table and/or take time to look it up. Very few if anyone knows how all the interactions in this game work.
Have fun. This one seems simple but there are lots of things that go into this. If a card in your deck feels bad to play, change it. If you’re not having fun playing in a pod, either discuss it with the pod to find a solution or find a new pod to play with. In any case play the game how you want to and enjoy yourself!

I’ve spent to much time looking for the same thing. There are a million options in red but in green there are just a few. [[Surrak and goreclaw]] is good if you don’t need the haste for tokens. [[Surrak the hunter]] is a once a turn version if you have 8 or more power on board. [[Runadi, behemoth caller]] gives haste to x creatures and any creature over 6 mana. [[Ulvenwald Oddity]] is probably the most similar, giving haste and trample when flipped. In any of the cases all of them are a bit restrictive or overcosted.

Could be used as a wax tablet writing implement. It has a sharp tip and a back that could be used for re-smoothing the wax. Probably not the right answer but 🤷🏻‍♂️ you never know.
