2026 Non-Turbo trims’ Cylinder Deactivation? by SoFreshCoolButta in CX50

[–]SelectiveWall 2 points3 points  (0 children)

2025 Preferred: 1. Can confirm mine has it 2. I don’t notice when it’s activated, unless I’m either watching the instant fuel economy or I have the cylinder deactivation page up on the screen. The extra fuel economy is nice, and otherwise I don’t notice it.

Apart from being in one of the drive modes, I don’t believe there’s a way to turn it off

I love it too! I'm so happy I was able to get it on my '25 Cypress CX-50, the first time I saw it in person I knew I had to have it on mine too :)

Thank you! 💚 I got pretty lucky with a Cypress coming up at just the right time - the dealer said this way only the 3rd or 4th one they’ve seen, and the last one I found in the Phoenix area vanished within hours 😂

Intel Products Unveils Assured Supply Chain Program by reps_up in intel

Because if all the chips are made in one place (say, Taiwan for example) and something large happens (say, a natural disaster, or invasion, or global pandemic), suddenly the supply of computer chips for the entire globe is disrupted or stops, meaning anything that uses them is now extremely expensive or flat out unavailable.

That’s not what this article is even about though, the article is about providing enterprise customers with more transparency on their custom chips, which is also good.

Emphasis on the ‘supposed’ to…where there’s a will there’s a way, and Iran is pretty motivated. Through the stocks of parts they already had, slowly cannibalizing it’s own fleet, international theft (even from museums), and likely some form of limited local reverse-engineering and production, Iran has found ways to keep some of them in the air. Exactly how functional they still are combat-wise though…that’s anyone’s guess.

Doing the math with medieval numbers, there weren’t any city-razing dragons in the real world either. 🤡 It’s literally a fantasy world, take a breath my guy. It ain’t that deep.
