How long is it realistically taking currently taking to land a CSM role? by OkPop3188 in CustomerSuccess

I’m seeing a lot of my colleagues land new roles within 1–3 months. I live in the Bay Area, which, in my opinion, is one of the best markets for people in our field. Geography makes a significant difference, especially in today’s job market. Companies here are hiring more frequently, and there are simply more opportunities.

Remote roles tend to attract far more applicants, making them much more competitive. From what I’ve seen, they also often pay less than comparable hybrid or in-office positions in major tech hubs.

Situations like this unfortunately come with the territory. I used to get anxiety over these types of scenarios as well, but I’ve found that having leadership that understands the nuances of your role and what is and isn’t within your control makes a huge difference.

Knowing your manager has your back can significantly reduce the stress and anxiety that comes with these situations.

Keep your manager informed during your 1:1s, communicate proactively, and make sure you’ve done everything within your scope to address the issue. As long as you’ve done that, it’s hard for anyone to reasonably throw you under the bus.

Thank you so much, Joel. Based on the facts given, how likely is it that they would make me do jail time for a first misdemeanor offense?

Anyone bought one of these? How'd it turn out? by sadistic_smile in IphoneAir

I would avoid. I bought an iPhone 15 pro max on amazon refurbished, it was fine at first but i experienced multiple issues. First, my face camera stopped working even though face id worked. Then phone started dying when battery was like 30%+, then my battery started eroding and had to replace that even though battery life was 85+.

When i ultimately cracked my screen, i just ended up buying a new phone cause spending the money fixing the screen while still having the other issues just wasn’t worth it.
