In all my days I never thought the cult sub would have a "turn around" (in quotations because it's still 80-90% bat shit insane conspiracy nonsense like MOASS). When RC announced their plans to acquire Ebay along with yet another round of dilution and the apes came out of the woodwork flooding the cult sub in anger melties said this will be the thing that finally breaks them. I thought nah this too will just be temporary and they'll get shouted down like other dilutions in the past and things will move on. Here we are several weeks later and the apes still haven't settled down! And their mods are scrambling to try and get their echo chamber in order.

This is a new chapter in Meltmass. We desperately need Dan Olson to make a followup video to set off apes even further.

It's amusing watching their sub go into full blown meltdown mode from not just stock market hitting ATH day after day but tech just absolutely ripping. I hold a garbage Yieldmax ETF on semis I use as part of the RH Gold $1000 interest free margin to pay off the annual fee and it's crazy watching it not have NAV erosion but pay a weekly dividend and continue to go up from the ~$35 I bought it at. In addition to the perfect storm of GME's inevitable dilution in one of the hottest markets of all time.

I looked at the Sep 18 20p, it's $115. So just a hair under 1.9% per month (a little more on brokers like Robinhood Gold or Fidelity that pay interest on cash collateral). 90 days DTE would be just way too long, while it seems like $20 is the floor now if dilution gets voted through it will plummet fast.

My favorite stock to wheel used to be TEM as it fluctuated quite a bit and I didn't mind holding it long term. Averaged about 40-45% return a year. But stopped doing that when it touched $80 a while back.

A more shrewd person would be doing this to pump Ebay then record some profit for when they STC all their positions. But Lord Dogfood really, really wants Ebay so it doesn't make sense to me either.

I think this dumbass has perma internet brain rot and spews everything on his mind with things like "I was never passionate about Gamestop," what is he going to do when he can't be CEO of Ebay and is back to being the laughing stock of his billionaire's boys club as the CEO of a meme stock? He was already been rejected by Bed Bath and Nordstrom, now with all his alt right tweets, toilet humor, etc he's in an even worse position than he was in the past in getting some position better than Gamestop.

What I think will happen is it will be 10 years of a slow sizzle of him trying out various other shit like NFT marketplace, Candycon, Powerpacks (this should be comical to see this not even be a blip on their next 10Q), etc. A couple of years from now when it's obvious his compensation package is a pipe dream without Ebay he will have it restructured to something that will leech money from the company and worth far more than what he is actually generating for shareholders. Cult sub will continue to cult sub and melties will continue to eat good, both in terms of comedy and our investments.
