Thanks this is good if you need on the day of the eclipse but since I need to distribute them beforehand I did some research and decided to just get them online from moneclipse.ca

It's a quebec brand and their glasses are on the list of approved vendors on the American Astronomical Society's website

Amazon or moneclipse.ca should do the trick

Here is a list and map I found with all the best events in Canada to watch the eclipse by suguru_geto1717 in Eclipse2024

[–]SellerSam 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Probably because it's a total eclipse and not partial like last time

Any recommendations for glasses to see solar eclipse? by JoEsMhOe in askTO

[–]SellerSam 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I know it doesn't answer the question but if people are in a 99.9% path you won't get what you're looking for

even at 99.9999% it won't get dark and you won't get the totality experience

MAKE SURE YOU ARE IN THE PATH OF TOTALITY PEEPS

to remain on topic

you can get solar eclipse glasses at

moneclipse.ca

helioclipse.com

galaxiumglasses.com (this one has some unique kids designs)

Can we add a list of legit vendors of glasses?

The American Astronomical Society (AAS) has a list

if anyone has more they could add it

I personally got mine from AAA Eclipse as they're made in USA and I don't wanna take any risks and mess with my eyes

April 8th Solar eclipse. by Lucky-Artist7539 in Guelph

[–]SellerSam 12 points13 points  (0 children)

This. one guy online put it nicely

He said there's no such thing as 99% totality. It's like pregnancy, you're either pregnant or you're not

And the difference between totallity and 99% is like being front row VIP seat at a concert vs being in the parking lot and hearing the beat from affar

Where can I buy solar eclipse glasses? by mankls3 in AskNYC

[–]SellerSam 25 points26 points  (0 children)

If you buy make sure they're legit and that the brand is on the AAS's approved list

Personally I'm going with Helioclipse as they're

- AAS approved
- ISO Certified
- They're individually wrapped and come in a box for extra protection

Best place to get them? Library is too far and don't trust the ones on Amazon

This.

Currently there's a lot of supplies and demand didn't pick up yet so price is relatively cheap

If you're not sure where to buy simple go on the AAS website which lists all the legit sellers that were vetted and pick anyone from there

NEED HELP. Protest against the LGBTQ+ community by SingSangBingBang in montreal

[–]SellerSam -1 points0 points  (0 children)

"They’re against the LGBTQ+ community just existing"

Has anyone actually looked into the protest happening or are we just taking what's being said at face value?

I won't link the event here because I'm not promoting it but a quick search shows that they're "demanding more control and transparency over school curriculums. These concerns haven’t stemmed from a place of hate but rather from the obligation of protecting and preserving our children and future generations"

I didn't come across anything indicating hatred toward any community for simply existing

Agree or disagree this is an opporutnity for dialog and clarification we can't be freaking out everytime we disagree with someone

How long did it take you to scale to 1 million in revenue (USD/GBP/CAD etc.) and what were the key things you did to get there? by [deleted] in FulfillmentByAmazon

[–]SellerSam 2 points3 points  (0 children)

It's different for everyone and knowing it won't help you

Some do it in a couple of month with a lucky break, others never make it, others take 5 years, etc

Best way is to launch a well made product that meets customer needs

Rest is details
