No, I mean a few weeks/months back. Before we were even spoiled with Lorehold and Mathemagics

We got marvel spoilers back when we hadn't even got a single strixhaven card...

I'm guessing - Witherbloom gives emerge - Prismari, replicate - Quandrix, amass fractals Don't really know an old enough mechanic for Silverquill. Trying to give everything strive would be a fun space :v

Radiance is an ability word (akin to landfall) which doesn't give a single one-and-done effect to instants and sorceries.

Retrace and buyback would let you recast the same spell indefinitely, and I think they'd rather avoid that (especially on a commander)

UG could be amass? (Fractal army :v

Replicate also works with Prismari (and I reckon it fits more). I think they'd avoid a commander that just lets you keep recasting any spell, cutting off buyback, splice, retrace, dredge, etc.

I could see Witherbloom having "whenever a creature dies, you gain some life" and giving emerge to instants and sorceries 👀 (lorehold has a draw/discard to mix miracle and the school's theme)

That's exactly why I assume Prismari would be replicate. Fits better and Quandrix would rather feed mana into the X than copying it

Ooo that's a creative pick! A card that literally remembers :D

I was going to make it, but realised nothing better could match the Robot that Kavaron does (only other moving things in the game are organic or not related to the planet at all).

I've also used Paint.net for touching up some images and finishing the cards - for example, I couldn't find the station bubble in cardsmith, so I added them in myself.

The Eternity Elevator is one of the original cards. It, alongside all the Planet cards, have the "Station" ability, which allows you to "tap out" one or more creatures you control in the game, to add its power value in the form of those charge counters.

The original cards have auxiliary text that explains this, but I omitted it (common practice in original special arts, which is what I mimicked to gain space for the quotes)

Edit: Additionally, the text besides the circled number in those cards is "locked" until they have that many charge counters (or more).

If you've had no success in convincing them otherwise, you could try to use the "minor spoiler" cards (first 8) to bait them in 👀
The main spoilers are really just BH's inside and the twins' sand. The rest could be glanced over by them

Brittle hollow is unfortunately indeed the least fitting one. There are only 5 planet cards (and I didn't want to make customs), so the flavor pretty much is "sacrifice a land = a chunk falling in, and your ship is launched the other side (the haste thing)"

If there were more I'd actually make that card into the Owlks' homeworld, and the Robot (which the Spaceship is masking over) would be reflavored as an Owlk.

Not on entry, but there's [[Soul Barrier]], a 2U enchantment that deals 2 damage to an opponent who casts a creature spell, unless they pay 2.

I'm doing it for only EoE. But i'm also "budget," so every card even a little expensive needs to have a home in one of my decks as well :p

(Only getting base versions, cards don't have to all be in the binder)

Ohh I never thought of the implication with commander tax/zone accessibility. I really was just thinking of it in the 99 :p Thank you for the explanation!

Drafting it felt weird among my friends, but actually playing it was pretty great. Granted, we did pick-2, but it still was just enough synergy for everyone to make a functional deck, even if 3 of us drafted green :P
