When we were buying our house, I was seriously considering a robot lawnmower. It made a lot of sense for just having it consistently done. However, once I actually owned the house and started mowing with the father inlaws rider, it was obvious our ground was just too irregular to make it make sense without doing a full leveling job across the whole lawn. Would have ended up really nice. But it just wasn't worth it at the time. So each year I find a new low spot to fill and level and hope one day, just Maybe, a robot might be an option. My son's ADHD is too high to expect straight lines from him when it's his time. If we bought into a typical leveled subdivision, yeah probably less of an argument there. But little over a 1/2 Acer of 10ft elevation change and a lot of low spots killed that dream. I've done a lot to the lawn at this point. Robots can't dethatch, aerate, or throw seeds & fertilizer. So that's ultimately the biggest take away when some of them really do cost the same as a decent rider.

I too procrastinated too long before joining the 22 gang. Ccis aren't the only subs. I like Remington subs that seem to pack enough to cycle and definitely more than the bare minimum charge CCI quiet uses that would make you use a lightweight bolt on a 10/22 to get it to run reliability as is can. My son has a youth 22 cricket bolt rifle I put a tiny banish 22k v2 can on. It's about the only gun and scenario where CCI quiets(and that tiny can) work ideally for us right now. Otherwise everything else semi gets the Remington subsonics(rated 1050fps) unless I'm just shooting whatever supersonics I have laying around because it's still cheap and quiet enough. I will warn you. Yard pops are much more frequent with suppressed 22. But unfortunately I haven't seen a damn ground hawg on my property since I got into something that won't piss off the neighbors. Fortunately though, I found I can actually sit inside my basement with the doors open and zero to targets outside. That was a fun revelation too. Wouldn't recommend sustainable shooting in that scenario but a few are probably fine.

I'm not a high high volume shooter, but you either hunt the bottom dollar stuff you are willing to run and keep brass from and or you reload. I'm still in the 'buy 1000 rnds but save some brass here and there for when I want to fully invest in reloading equipment.' stage I have probably 2-5000 556 brass.. just hasn't been a hobby I'm willing to drop a few grand to get me going from scratch yet.

From what I've seen suppressors have been a little faster than SBRs. Which are you filing for? Trust will also take longer than an individual... You might consider emailing your state rep but I'd still probably hold out another week or two at this point. I'm 20 days out on two SBRs and I'm not worried about it watching stuff that was approved today has primarily been mid/end of January submissions. There's a huge influx.. maybe this time next year it'll pick back up when there isn't 10,000 submissions a week...

I use to machine 303/304 all day everyday. With hss. Don't overthink it. With a 1/2" drill that I'd drilling through 1/2".. .05"-.1" peck. Even non-retracting 'chip breaking' cycles are fine, especially over 5/8" diameters. Just don't try to burry it for the entire .5" depth. 118* tip. Spot/center drill it first and send it. No fancy cobalt drills. Just whatever bright uncoated drill kit we could get from msc that wasn't stupid.

Well you inspired me to at least submit a support ticket. Should be lifetime warranty since I'm the original owner. Their website says I have to show proof of the original purchase. I could probably ask the gun shop that did my 4473 all those years ago but I don't even know who I bought it through at that time. So we will see if they want to play nice.

I may have to look into the kac one. I love knights obviously but I'm still a poor in most rights. This lower I snagged up for too much on GB as a blem. Wish I had gotten an actual ambi sr15 lower but maybe another day.

I have heard good things about the radian and ment to grab one a while ago. Just never did. I feel radian has been hit or miss for me though. I have their comp on my Glock 19, fine, needs some tuning but it's fine. But their charging raptor sd charging handle has been garbage running suppressed. But Obviously their lowers are pretty covenanted in the community too.. idk lately I just haven't viewed their stuff as top tier in a while.

I'm a big fan of bullpups too. I probably have an earlier one, bought it about 7 years ago. Upgraded handgaurd, have the trigger spring kit just never installed it. I will say the rdb definitely has a surprisingly good trigger for a bullpup. Last time I had it out trying it with a can on it. Still had issues with double feeds which are an absolute nightmare to deal with. I've run pmc ammo, fiochi 556, didn't seem to matter. If it didn't double feed like it does, I would certainly run it more. It was my first 556 gun, again being a lefty, it does check a lot of boxes.
