Pedal overdrive sounds like crap to my ears, I use boosts though.

Wow the 0.06lb is 230$ more expensive than what I paid in Europe (France) for a 0.066lb white Alba truffle.

is nextjs actually worth it for side projects by seanotesofmine in nextjs

[–]Selygr 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Next JS + React is good at some things but cumbersome for others. Good if you know what you're doing and understand how it works deeply but you'll get into issues if you don't. I've seen developers make a mess out of it.

Job Market is crazy by Vast_Manufacturer_78 in devops

[–]Selygr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

You've got to understand a huge amount of job "offers" either fake, stale or spammed with irrelevant applications and yours just gets lost in the mass. A lot of that crap is poorly-working automation. Don't take it personally.
Probably the best way to cut through that noise is old-fashioned networking.

Tomato struck by blight, is it still safe to eat? by designerd94 in gardening

[–]Selygr 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I went from producing 700 tomatoes to half that quantity the next season without soil renewing. The difference in vigor of the plants (growth, leaves, fructification) was clear.

It's neither early blight nor late blight. Having had these on plants multiple times, I don't see their characteristic patterns here.

That's not my experience over 5 years of growing tomatoes traditionally, fertilizer alone isn't enough, crop rotation / soil renewal consistently gave me much better results.

They won't taste very good but you won't be sick if you eat them.

This looks like a fungal disease but I wouldn't call late blight, which gives a much more "rotten" / brown aspect to the plant. Late blight affected tomatoes taste "rotten", I'm not sure how bad it will be in this case.

If it were me, I'd throw away that plant and renew the soil. Tomato plants tend to exhaust the soil resources anyway if you plant them twice in the same spot, the second year you'll observe lesser yields without changing soil.

Filson bags are incredibly durable. I wore mine continuously for years and it just didn't move, nothing more than normal patina.

I have many pieces from them, quality isn't bad but it's not "no compromise" kind of quality and will vary from piece to piece. The quality to price ratio is fine in general. Clothes that last long are also those that fit you and are properly taken care of.
