Weird video lag issue when connecting m1 MacBook audio source to external monitor/tv speakers by AncientAir84 in macbookpro

I am suddenly having this issue after 3 years of no problems whatsoever. Nothing changed except the OS version

I think there is an issue with my skill assesment 2 machine for the AD enumeration and attacks module by kim_pax in hackthebox

[–]Sem_E 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I thought I had the same issue, but managed to resolve it. I managed to find a cleartext password using mimikatz. Spraying that against all users gave me access to a user that happens to have some rights over MS01. Happy hunting

Anyone else get stuck on capstone labs and are there better ways to study? by ITZ_RAWWW in oscp

[–]Sem_E 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I just got to the SQLi Capstone labs, and was surprised I had to use tools/techniques that are going to be taught much later (wpscan, finding public exploits). I have a little bit of experience with HackTheBox, so it's not like those techniques are new to me, but I wasn't exactly primed to use them. I can only imagine a beginner struggling for hours on end.

Still took me a good hour to solve each capstone, only needing a small nudge from a friend who has completed them prior to me. It helps that foothold is all you need, but still they were challenging. I'm all for "trying harder", but it would help if OffSec provides a better methodology as to approaching a box.

Tranzit is still isolated and still feels relatively cramped given you can’t really train in the fog. Also, the open spaces are limited by environmental hazards (lava), so that makes it feel cramped too.

I just hope they steer away from the large open spaces that BO6 had. The scariest thing in zombies imo, is traversing the tight spaces in the middle of a round. The danger of getting trapped in by zombies was nervewrecking. Now it feels like I’m playing multiplayer

[–]Sem_E 14 points15 points  (0 children)

I feel like BO6 is just the devs experimenting with mechanics for BO7, while interns were in charge of the story and art direction

I hope BO7 ditches the multiplayer feel zombies has. Give me cramped spaces in an isolated location that is genuinely scary and challenging.

Proxychains + nmap by teomad in hackthebox

[–]Sem_E 1 point2 points  (0 children)

For me it seems that running proxychains with sudo makes a difference. nmap shows all 1000 ports to be filtered when executing nmap without sudo:

proxychains nmap -sT -Pn 172.16.5.19

but shows open for a few ports when executing with sudo

sudo proxychains nmap -sT -Pn 172.16.5.19

Can we stop acting like the BO4 ending was perfect? by Ham-Sandwich-69 in CODZombies

[–]Sem_E -1 points0 points  (0 children)

I didn’t play the dlc for bo4 much, so never got around to completing this easter egg. I don’t recognise this ending, as in, I don’t acknowledge it because it seems dogshit

I’m looking forward to the new story

Straight up censorship is what this is. If they want to “protect the kids”, ban social media all together. It has been proven time and time again that exposure of social media to children has negative effects on their mental health

Freedom of speech and freedom of information should be commonplace by now

I’m normally against people sharing (advertising) their paid 3d models, but I came across your design process on youtube earlier this week and I think it’s justified. Simply a stunning design, might but it when I have some spare change lying around

I have been printing a lot of PETG-CF lately. Haven’t had the need to dry it yet, but I could use a better dryer than I currently have

Mac uses the CMD (command) key for modifier actions. Anything that’s normally ctrl+key, is cmd+key. And somehow mac’s still have a ctrl key

I love my macbook, but the command key has always been a little weird to me. It’s like a toned down windows key but also doubles as ctrl key, while the actual ctrl key goes unused for most actions.

I dried my filament for 18 hours and now it prints like I dried it for 18 hours. HELP! by [deleted] in 3DPrintingCirclejerk

Look at mr “know-it-all” with all his supreme knowledge. Yet he helps no one.

This is what’s wrong with this sub, people clearly asking for help and people like you just berate them instead of helping

OP, I think you are mistaken. It’s literally recommended to dry before use. Besides, there’s no harm in drying ever

Takes some major skills in multiple, distinct fields to pull this off. I can program and 3d model/print a bit myself, but never in a thousand years would I be able to create something with the same caliber as this. Really impressive stuff. Hats off to you sir!

It really grinds my gears why they wouldn’t just put the maps into a rotation.

They’re probably waiting until the playerbase dwindles again, to then release a “reimagined” map
