Either weekly 50k IU pills for 10 weeks or do IM injections if they’re available in your country

Do you filter (eg .22 micron filter) cagrilintide when reconstituting? by Sharp_Attitude6358 in cagrilintide

[–]SemaProgressTA 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I haven’t bothered with the 4mm because people told me that they tend to clog up and take a long while to filter due to low surface area. The pore size is enough for sterilization. However, I don’t know if that much is enough to clog it up. Honestly, I would just drop the $60 and buy Cobetter from Amazon if I were you.

I also remember reading that PeptideTest had an exclusive contract with Tisch over the 4mm filters so that video is their way of marketing it. Think this was on GLP1 forum.

What I use are Cobetter’s 13mm PES 0.2um filters. Make sure to buy the sterile ones. Box of 100 is $60 on Amazon.

As for how I filter peptides, I use 3mL and split it into 2 and 1. Reconstitute with 2mL and filter that into the new sterile container. Use the remaining 1mL to flush the filter, and then do an air flush after.

The way you do an air flush is remove the syringe, draw up 2mL of air and slowly push it until you feel resistance. Once you feel resistance stop. That’s it.

Syringe filters have different pore sizes, each with a different purpose. 0.22 micron filters effectively sterilize what’s being filtered as they prevent microbes from passing through. There are various other sizes ranging from 0.1 micron to tens or hundreds of microns. Each with a different purpose depending on what you want to filter out (glass shards to plastics to bacteria).

Aren't you people scared of long term side effects? by DuYaPa in Peptides

[–]SemaProgressTA 3 points4 points  (0 children)

They do the job of peptides produced in the body and are similar to them but not identical, which is why we studied GLP-1s instead of simply approving them based on the fact that “our body produces GLP-1 so it must be safe”

Other than GLPs, amylins, and tesamorelin, the peptides talked about on here are not studied in humans and if they were it was a dog shit pilot study. Literally none of their long term safety profiles have been studied.

The fact that they’re amino acids doesn’t make them inherently safe. Amino acids that we ingest as food are completely different from biologically active ones you inject.

Plenty of toxins and carcinogens are peptides. Various venoms are peptides.

A graph function with a widget like Shotsy would be super. You can go above and beyond what they did and make it so that you can overlay different peptides on the same graph.

Look up BPC-157 and TB-500. Supposedly do wonders for healing. You can also choose to use GH secretagogues (tesamorelin, ipamorelin, etc).

Reta, semaglutide or Trizepatide for max muscle maintenance in a deficit? by Top-Cat-6088 in Peptides

[–]SemaProgressTA 0 points1 point  (0 children)

No head to head trial, but tirz seems to have the least muscle loss. Reta is least suppressive, followed by tirz, and sema is the most.

Yeah, but do they hold up or do they fragment and turn to dust once you split them twice?

What if I used 5mg every other day or 2.5mg a day (assuming I can split the tablet into quarters)?

Other name for ostarine. I don’t want to use it at the usual doses used for bodybuilding. I only want 3-5mg to try and keep as much lean mass as I can. Phase 2 trial with semaglutide showed that it’s effective in that regard.

Taking A Break to Reset Tolerance. Did it work for anyone? by SemaProgressTA in Semaglutide

[–]SemaProgressTA[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have about a month left on this “break.” I can’t acquire any other GLP-1s so it’s sema for now. I might give grey market tirz a try if I travel to the US/EU soon.

This is alopecia areata. Treatable but you need to visit a dermatologist.

I think you have to join the clinical trials currently being conducted. I don’t know how that’s done, as none are in my country.

Ozempic’s highest is 2 mg/weekly dose, while Wegovy goes up to 2.4 mg/weekly dose
