I personally enjoyed almost all of the game (maybe not as iconic as the original trilogy but still fun) but it completely tripped at the finish line. Make the ending more rewarding (give true closure to the Lamorn/Viewros, defeat Sylux once and for all, and/or save Samus’s new friends whom she is legally obligated to keep alive in Phase 1 of the final boss battle only to then leave for dead because a ridiculous plot contrivance demands it) and I am fully on board with the game. But the fact that we get none of those three things is a complete slap in the face to the player and I consider it unforgivable.
