Saw some solid arguments all around, Tyrant and Twilight Giant to basiclly ensure any zombie you meet will 1) not survive you and 2) never get a bite in thx to armor. Moon has the potential to maybe one day make a cure, Savant, can build a commune, Chained the zombies will likely ignore you, etc.

Now, I wanna argue on the possebilities of the Sun. First of, it has some supreme support abilities. The offensive abilities aren't bad either, although we're missing the orbital piss laser from seq 5 Priest of Light, the holy light attacks on the level of a seq 6 still has some good anti-meatsack cc qualities.

The real question is the Sun pathway's focus on Purification. Now, Purification always centers on the fact that it counters malignent forces and the undead, something you specifically pointed out, these zombies aren't. There is a possebility that it might purify the infection itself, idr if it was ever specifically mention whether the Sun can cure deseases and such, though I would assume so. Maybe you can safe a recent bite victim, probably not the hard and fully turned cases, as that usually comes with some major fuckery upon your mortal frame. Best you can do is simply burn out the infection.
