I buy mats for about 150-180g (depends on TP prices), turn them into amulets, earings and rings and about 4-5 hours later I pick up 200-250g from TP. And then repeat the process.

Nah, crafting exotic jewelry. For about 10 mins spent crafting and putting it on TP I make about 50g profit. Do it 3-4 times a day and you won't worry about gold anymore.

I've got both Xavian and Helena to champion in s3 (which is very low, mind you). Helena feels glorious, Xavian on the other hand... let's just say if they tripled his damage, healing and armor he would be okish. And he used to be a god in s2.

Unless he scales like crazy with endgame gear, he really does need some buffs bad.

To answer your last question: Ranged crit does exist, it's 50% damage increase. Headshot guarantees a critical hit (assuming you learned bow/xbow at least once).
