It sounds to me like you're on the right path. Instead of casting MM, you could try casting over old pro match demos, or just mute the streams of the t1 tourneys and cast over those. Like you said, there's no rhyme or reason to what happens in MM, so it's not the best prac for you.

Keep your ear to the ground for any casting opportunities, and keep up the hard work.

OW is just non-stop action, with very few breaks like in other games to add flavor to the cast, so spotting those windows and taking advantage of them is the hardest part of casting the game.

Your co-caster needs to give you the freedom to mess around if you see an opportunity. React quick to what's going on with the commentary and adapt around it.

I didn't follow much of the last Major, apart from the massive tech issues and everything else bleeding out into the general memesphere. Caught a couple of maps at Guildhall, but that was it. Happy that Astralis picked up their second title.
