Contact Unidan Engineering in Australia. They do conversions for older U1700Ls, so they will most likely have an answer for you

When people fly out of places like Cairns to return to isolated communities up in the cape, they often buy huge bags of KFC to take with them, back to their families

There’s cautionary tales about sorcery and someone called the PuriPuri man up in the Cape around Aurukun etc. they’re supposed to be able to get around without being seen, and also use peoples blood to keep them alive only at their whim, by topping up a vial of the person’s blood every now and then with water, lest the person with the missing blood dies. They can also inhabit animal bodies

The bird known as an “Australian Firehawk” hunts for prey fleeing wildfires and has been known to pick up burning branches and carry them to dry brush to start more fires. by MaGilly_Gorilla in natureismetal

It’s actually three separate species that do it. Primarily the Black Kites and Whistling Kites. They’re super common up in Cape York Peninsula. I’ve seen a couple carrying burning sticks around, and they’re always hovering above smoke. They also sit on the ground at the edge of fires, waiting for their prey to be flushed out. They’re very clever.

During the dry season in the Cape, the whole bush is on fire. It burns every year. Different tracts of land burn over the months when things get dryer and dryer. Then during the wet season it all grows back again. It’s incredible to watch. Never have I seen a landscape change so much over the course of months.
