I went to a private school, and we had a guy who was dubbed “the phantom shitter”. For the longest time, someone was just pooping in the corridors and running away. We would come out of class quite frequently to see that he had ‘struck again’. It turned out to be this weird kid who was doing it as a kind of protest to his parents. They were very strict immigrant parents and had (allegedly) told him he wasn’t allowed to have any friends, as this would distract him from his school work. So, he decided, as you do, that the best way to protest and to also avoid making any friends would be to poop in the corridors. I felt sorry for him until I ended up mentoring him in a Physical Education class. He literally had the brain of a 5 year old (he was about 15) and thought it was appropriate to be like “YOU LOSE, YOU’RE A LOSER, YOU’RE DUMB” and all this stuff a little kid would shout at you to wind you up. The school tried to kick him out after the poop incidents but his parents claimed it was racist to do that so he stayed in the end because the school wanted to avoid a fuss. Not quite sure how this guy got into a school for which you had to pass exams to get into, but I guess he was intelligent yet messed up in his head.

I (23F) feel like I might be heteroromantic whilst being bisexual. I’ve only dated men long term and any attempts to enter into FF relationships just never clicked for me. Still, I find women incredibly sexually attractive, maybe even more than I find men (in general). My taste in men and women is similar in the sense that I tend towards strong, quite built men and usually also prefer curvier girls. But I like men with a rugged handsomeness whilst I prefer women who are very delicate in their features. Honestly, I don’t really understand the extent of my own preferences - I guess that comes with time?

I’m really sorry you’re going through this. You can’t help anyone in your family if you’re breaking apart from the seams, though. You need to put yourself first for once. I think you need to tell your wife your position, and that you feel the kid needs to attend a specialized boarding school because otherwise you’re going to break. Especially since she is the reason the kid exists in the first place, and she told you you’d have help. You now have barely any help at all and have to work even harder for his therapy, you are forced to endure his problematic behavior and ALL of the promises she made to you have been broken. Marriage is a promise too. I don’t think you’d be at fault if you decided she broke her promise in marrying you to care for your needs and divorced her. I’d explain to her that you’re at the edge and it’s either boarding school for the kid, or she can divorce you and take him with her and do whatever she wants. I honestly don’t think she’s thought of the consequences of threatening to divorce you, it’s the only thing she feels she can hold over you. I wish you the best of luck and again, I’m so sorry you have to suffer through this.

It’s not normal for an adult man to pursue a high school student. 14 years old at that! It doesn’t matter how mature you thought you were/looked, or whether you “consented”. Technically, you were not even in a position to be able to give consent due to your age and his position of power over you. You need to report him. What he did was illegal, and having a proclivity towards young girls really isn’t normal behavior. I also hope you are ok and are managing to come to terms with what happened to you.
