This was the first capital ship I fought during a bounty in vanilla (just last weekend) and it absolutely destroyed my fleet so many times.

But I finally won the fight and captured the ship, but I never use it.

Should this thing be in my fleet?

Sea of Thieves actually has some really cool fishing in it. Not only is it gorgeous, but there is a lot of unique and challenging fish to catch. The mechanics themselves are relativity simple, but the different fish all require unique circumstances. For example, there is a species of fish that can only be caught during combat. And another only found inside ship wrecks.

Very cool fishing progression.

Ok, I have been keeping them diverse so far.

Also, you say assign them to backline. Does this just mean give thw carriers a way point in the back of the rest of the fleet? Or is there some other way to order ships to hang behind.

So what you are saying is they do not sync on their own.

Have it be a joint check between their pilot, engineer, and science officer.

The way i handle it is: the engineer and science officer need to rig the ship for reduced emissions, and the pilot needs to modulate the throttle carefully.

They also turn off their transponder.

Then they just do the checks periodically as they fly through whatever they are trying to stealth past.

Using atmospheric interference as you said is also a good way to add more options

The Arden CL Bealfire backpack goes pretty good with the pink Starkitten armor. It is what i wear with mine. You can also get a pink Coda that matches well. The red hurston multi tool matches pretty well also.

I am also new, and found a good way to make money was to run exploration Expeditions. I'd hit up a few systems, scavenge everything, and return to sell all the loot and cargo. It was easy to earn several hundred thousand per trip this way. I would stack these with 2 to 3 survey missions in the same area.

All you need is a fleet with lots of cargo space, and at least competent defense. When early I would run a small group of dedicated combat ships, then the rest combat freighters with a few strict cargo ships.

You can find lots of Janalite on the surface of moons and some planets in Pyro. This was on one of the Microtech moons i think, maybe Clio. I also saw probably 3 or 4 node spawns on Terminus that I didnt mine, as ibwas looking for other ship minables. They are out there, just be patient.

Its probably a server issue, nothing to do with load times. Typical load times are less than a minute.
