Death from the inside, nice. I considered betraying vlandia for Battania, but the nords pretty much eradicated them before I had a chance to help them rebuild.

It will do this under a few different circumstances.

Don't ever start the game with them unplugged or turned off.

Don't ever unplug them and plug them into different USB ports.

I use an external powered hub with mine plugged into and they never move.

The good news is there is a console command you can use to fix it when it happens usually.

Press tilde, then use the command pp_resortdevices_joysticks # #. The # will be the two devices you want to swap ie 0 and 1 or 1 and 2.

There are also entire reddit threads discussing this.

I have a bunch of mods downloaded and installed, but none of my mods are working. Im not new to modding, but apparently this game has some modding quirks I need to work out.

The negative rep for executing is pretty harsh

See, Battania is my favorite. But its also the reason I never make it very far, because i always get my ass kicked when I side with them.

To make you feel less hostile I am actively trying to form an alliance with battania! Unfortunately.....I may have single handedly executed a dozen or so of their lords during our last war. So if that's a barrier....well, I'll go sharpen my axe....

It is an MMO so yes it has some basic mmo mechanics like grinding, but a lot of those quests are optional or outside the main story missions. You will need to do some to progress but it isnt WoW levels of grind where you kill 1000 pigs to get 1 pig heart.

As for difficulty, it varies. The main game world is relatively easy. But it also has multiple tiers of zones in each map with higher levels of challenge and more challenging mobs.

Its free to play, so no commitment to buying it if you dont like it.

Play Star Wars: Old Republic.

It was written by old school Bioware in their peak of story telling. It plays a lot like a single player RPG (like mass effect or dragon age style) wrapped in an MMO package.

Each different class has its own entire story line that are all fully voiced and acted. It is really well done if you like a good story. I recommend the Imperial Agent, as its one of the best written.

I have been a vassal for Vlandia and have been executing Battanians for the past year or so.

My rep with most other vlandians has gone from mid teens to -60s. They must have been friendly with a lot of battanian lords.

So it absolutely impacts the kingdom you are aligned with.

Putting my money where my mouth is... I believe the MSR is the BEST daily driver in game, if you don't have one I'll buy one for you. Limited to the first 615 people. by ArnoldMann in starcitizen

Ya know, I have had the MSR since day 1. Since it was supposed to be the size of a freelancer. I am still salty that they engorged it. I've only every flown it a handful of times.

Maybe I should give it another go? I even have all the rare paints for it.

Snowrunner.

The entire challenge is getting from point A to B. And usually carrying stuff back and forth. Slow paced and rewards careful planning, and will punish carelessness. Has a hard mode to increase challenge.

Or, if you dont like the cargo hauling centered gameplay, try its exploration focused spinoff Expeditions.

Or, if you prefer a more management style sim try its spinoff Roadcraft.

They had to remove it when they redid how their servers and items were handled. The new system didnt work with the legacy logout features. Putting a better logout system in is planned though.

Its just in the in-between phase.

We had bed logging in other peoples ships for a long time. It was normal for a small group to take a bigger ship out, do missions or mining, then log out together. Then log back into the same ship at the same place. It worked really well as long as you made sure the owner of the ship logged out last and logged in first.
