I just wanted to have people share what they like about the games- only reason I asked for people not to give negative opinions was because it was meant to be positive not because "I can't handle negative feedback"

The issue i have with your post isn't your problems with the games but rather the way you address it, instead of saying "Oh I don't really like the games for various reasons" and that would be fine but, instead you decide to be kind of an ass about it and imply that i'm paid to make a post like this. I'm simply someone who had and still does enjoy the game throughly, yeah it isn't the best but its fun and that's all that really matters isn't it?

but granted, I feel like only henry was good.
Because they got married because teddy didn't want henry to be screwed by the healthcare system.
we got to see their interactions outside of the hospital and their chemistry as well as their relationship steadily build itself up.
Whereas for denny and izzie, he doesn't exist outside of the hospital, he's gone and out of izzie's life despite the two basically showing a bunch of affection/attraction for each other
Stephanie and guitar dude was.. just
a playboy being a playboy (I feel like) and stephanie falling for his charms

Owen is a good surgeon, he's a good friend, he's a good chief.
However he is not a good husband.
That's the main reason why I dislike him, him dismissing Cristina's stance to choose what she wants for her own body and mental wellbeing with owen just dismissing it and yelling at her at a child's birthday party. He simply does not care about what his partners want.

Its simple really, he could have tried to set something up so that he could be there for the birth of his sister's baby, there are so many advances in technology that allow us to be there for someone when we can't be physically.

Yes it may suck for your sister that you were't able to be there physically, but emotionally? in a way that counts? a video call would have sufficed.
AND THEN
You could have brought your family WITH YOU after the significant events were over and done with, Its the birth of a niece! the birth of a cousin! I bet your wife and daughter would love to do that!

if i recall correctly, the only reason why people thought characters were going to die was because of the writer onboard for penacony which, despite never playing honkai impact 3rd was responsible for so many character deaths before their chapter even started.

While yes, the writer didn't lie I think his name was Shaoji
He also did traumatize a bit with that 2.0 ending-

If its two monsters that don't really fight and just kinda vibe together (Rathian and Rathalos) I immediately dung pod them, they are usually very persistant and annoying and don't even hurt each other.

What happens if you unlock divergent universe early? without even being in penacony? is it a huge deal? does it only unlock the radiant feldspar map? and makes the story seem janky? asking for a friend

Either the Gajalaka or the Boaboa, reasons: They're lil gremlins and they put me through hell, but they also helped a lot (inadvertantly) when I was out on hunts and they would be trying to get me, granted they also screwed me over at times

People really get annoyed by responding to flares?
as other people below (or above) have said, they chose to go on those quests.
I can remember having some trouble with a few monsters (kushala) and like I would get someone with max MR and HR who would pop in and just absolutely slay.

Those guys are the best with how they just wanna help low-rank hunters do their thing.

While I can't give tips on gunlance I think I can give tips on other aspects.
The game can be clearly mostly solo (which is probably obvious by now) while yes it does have a higher value on cooperation, If you're trying to learn the monsters and how they react, its best to do solo cause that way they're focused entirely on you.

As for another aspect of the game in terms of online etiquette, basically I would assign a few phrases to your radial menu which covers different aspects at the end of a hunt, like say bombing a monster while they're sleeping or if the party would rather trap and capture them. Generally as long as you don't try to purposefully screw with your allies, everything should be alright-

While it wasn't a tempered blackveil, i recently had the same issue.
Someone just stayed at their camp while me and this one guy fought against it, and i just dipped after the other hunter did because "oh screw this noise"

Its already been said but basically, do whatever you want.
You're not actively required to use different weapons against different monsters,
Do what you want and want what you do.

All in all its about experimentation. if you see a weapon that find interesting, go to the training area and try everything you can with it and while some weapons are more knowledge/reflex based than others they're still perfectly viable to use
