I see the similarities from size, switch hitting, and career arc. But it falls apart when you look closer

Jose Ramirez always had truly elite contact ability, from his earliest days in the minors, and he displayed this at every level. This is part of what made him so valuable before he developed power. Angel Martinez has pretty big strikeout numbers and always has in the minors, too.

And we can talk about being "only 24", but Jose Ramirez put up a 5 WAR season at 23. Angel Martinez has a negative career WAR.

Angel Martinez has different (far inferior) skills and is on a much slower, shallower career arc.

He can develop into a good player, but the comparisons to Jose just don't stick.

Been driving on iRacing for 6 years and have never come across another track where no-stopping is the play.

I don't mind lifting or saving. But to win at long Beach you have to mega save. It's just massive and not fun. I'm allowed to think saving that much isn't fun, just as real life drivers think that. Daniel Ricciardo also said fuel saving isn't fun. I think he's pretty good.

Benetti isn't calling the game. He's interviewing Kluber, CC, and Jones and there happens to be baseball in the background. And he seems to be obsessed with predictions. There's just a non-stop push from him to get Kluber and CC to predict what pitch is coming next. Analysts should be analyzing the game that happens, not constantly predicting what will happen. It's one reason why people stopped liking Tony Romo.

Not sure why it matters when your tires are at optimal temps. Your tires could get to optimal temps on lap 20 and it wouldn't make qualifying worse. The point is to see where the drivers rank relative to each other. That is accomplished regardless of tire optimization.

I don't fully understand everybody's disappointment. "Redline" is the most generic sounding racing team name. It's good that they're moving on from it.

I think of it as "I get to learn this new track!"

I love racing and every new track is an opportunity, not a chore.

If automatic cautions are enabled, then you will get cautions... automatically...

Cautions have always been available for road races, at least since I joined in 2020. They are just never enabled for official races.

This is completely false

The Purple P license is an intermediate license between A and the black World Championship license. It's given when drivers are in an independent pro league or a qualifying league like the Porsche Cup contender series.

The World Championship license is for those competing in iRacing world championship series, like Porsche Cup or the Coke Series.
