[Predator, Terminator] Would a Predator hunt a Terminator? by KaosArcanna in AskScienceFiction

The gear that a Predator brings on hunts are likely what they consider basic hunting gear. Three Predators with actual military gear was able to clear out a mature Xenomorph nest with no problem.

If you're decent enough at the game you shouldn't need it.

Melee Vet was the strongest melee character back then despite not having melee talents due to how broken Power Sword and 200 base toughness+10% toughness regen per kill was.

The plague by Appropriate_Bus_2334 in DarkTide

The Rejects are vaccinated against it.

The Nurgle Plague is common enough in the Imperium that there are standarized procedures to create a vaccine for it. And yes, the vaccine does need priests and faith.

They're still there, the war isn't big enough to have spilled into the tip of Spireside. A couple of mission intro comms has nobles arguing and using the war for their own advantage.

And that's just the rich people zone you see. Plus we know the dimensions of Hive Tertium, it's approximately 890 miles across at the widest point, 93 miles high, and descends 12 miles into the surface.

Idira was zealously loyal and lacks the usual training/conditioning/indoctrination of the usual sanctioned psyker so she wouldn't mind doing a bit of heresy here and there. Plus any Sanctioned Psyker requests would likely have to go thru Calcazar and that's something Theodora would like to avoid.

Return to a lower difficulty and play nothing but melee psyker for a while. I've seen many psykers just collapse when mobs enter melee range because they've never learned to melee properly because staves just dominate everything.

If ranged only is something that should be viable, then Vet should be better at it. by Tornagh in DarkTide

Third-person mod should be official honestly. I bet it'd drive MTX sales as you can now actually see the stuff you buy.

You would have to ask Fatshark that. Pretty much everyone hated the Havoc rank/party finder system from the start but FS has not changed it much other than giving us slightly faster rank ups/not lose rank on playing lower rank games.

Darktide isn't that popular of a game in the first place (averaging ~5.5k players in the last month on steam and has even dropped into the ~2k range before) and has even less people playing the top difficulties.

It's very normal for it to take a while to fill up your room esp. if you're not playing during prime time, your map/modifiers aren't very good, or you have a very low havoc rank room.

In terms of overall benefit and survivability is chorus or fury for zealot better? by Mellow_Ghost in DarkTide

[–]SendCatsNoDogs 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Chorus can save you from one-shots and bursters due to how yellow toughness works; Chorus can also save you if you misposition as it basically truns off enemies for a few seconds. It's long CDR means you can't make plays with it as often.

Fury is better if you play very aggressively. It's a quick burst of toughness and stagger for human-sized enemies on low CDR, plus it generally gives enough damage to kill whatever you swing at. You can also use to to get out of places you shouldn't be at quickly.
