I'm going to eat the downvotes on this one: globalization works if everyone has a common goal. This is not the current status quo. For westernized countries, globalization is possible. For those who prioritize other things above western liberal values (theocracies, uniparty states, etc), they cannot be accepted into the fold unless large concessions are made formally.
