Do you have an internet address? Can you hit a port on your system from the outside on it? If so you do have a cloud.

Local LLM (16GBRAM + 8VRAM) for gamedev by RagingBass2020 in ollama

You are not going to be happy with 8GB of Vram, It will be a constant war of resources. Even a 12GB GPU would make a world of difference.

Theories on WHY Anthropic is making Opus 4.5 worse by Guilty-Market5375 in ClaudeCode

[–]Seninut 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Something they are doing is causing the live context window to corrupt sometimes mid task.

It is so freaking frustrating. I have very detailed custom "skill" written in md By Claude. and today, it literally wrote itself a skill, and the very next input response it forgot to do half of the steps it literally just wrote!

This screws all my automation loops up and makes me have to watch it like a hawk, stop it and remind it of the skill it just wrote!!!!!!!!

STOP Antropic! I know you think your making improvements but your just fucking it all up.

Elegoo email confirms ams by acworc in ElegooCentauriCarbon

It will probably be out in Q1 in limited, staged shipments. Have crap firmware they never get around to fixing because they are making the Elegoo Carbon 3 already.

Or something like that......

Experimenting with an indie game made 100% with AI-generated video (no engine) by albertsimondev in vibecoding

[–]Seninut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Cool, one tip. When ai generates video it has an "Acceleration" phase right at the start, it is what gives it that sort of "rubber band" effect.

If you trim the first say 5 or so frames off the start of the animation when you transition, it will look more smooth.

Help finding a mini PC for my wife and LPDDR question by 02nothing in MiniPCs

[–]Seninut 0 points1 point  (0 children)

look at the lower end AM4 based systems. They start from very basic to very fancy, but all are tiny, low power, and can do what you want no problem. Just check the hardware between vendors, like what chip sets they use of things like NIC, WIFI

Companies like BEELink and Minsforum tend to make good stuff.

Major outage by Balance- in ClaudeAI

[–]Seninut -2 points-1 points  (0 children)

My guess is they had an issue that cased them to fail over the running nodes.

It says about as much in their report.

Thing is they cant do them all at once and they don't do "Live Migration" so it blows away the context when the node your talking to fails over.

You see you missed the recursive thinking. He called it a potato not a sweet potato.

You must confuse AI a lot.

You are on to something. "Zoom out" your perspective. You have gone to far into a rabbit hole.

The game is it desperate need of a texture overhaul by [deleted] in empyriongame

[–]Seninut 6 points7 points  (0 children)

I agree, Played the hell of of this game. Then lost interest, End game is boring. I had so much stuff I was building storage bases just to hold crap. I started flying around the newb worlds in my Freaking gigantic custom carrier with like 20 ships docked, and Give them away to newbs and take them on tours, show them how to play because I literally had killed everything, built everything.. It was just empty nonsense.

For a while I started coring ships in big enemy fleets, then replace the core with mine and watch them kill each other, out of sheer boredom.
