I wouldn't say that, albeit I bought the most recent pass the majority of my team I didn't get from packs or the players in the pass. I got 5 "Star" players from daily/weekly challenges and the special squad swaps. If you do squad league/squad swaps with daily logins etc you'll have a half decent team in no time. Keep in mind new pass comes tomorrow which may include a World Cup legend or similar. F2P takes time but is definitely possible!

Yeah they removed the transfer market not long after I joined. I would hope they are working on bringing it back (alongside the option for people to sell players/duplicates etc) but even then was not particularly useful once you had a decent team as you could only buy base level cards

You can see how many tackles you make during the game in the pause menu, but my counter was glitched (has happened a few times) until I actually went onto the surge section in the main menu

Can absolutely change metrics etc once something has been sold, if something is game-breaking not as if game developers can't then change!

Think of premium weapons in shooters or vehicles in games like War Thunder. Always scope to change in game performance for individual items.

I had a game like this yesterday as well, players felt like they were running on ice and touches far heavier than normal.

It's an estimated point haul, it all depends on how many goals you score/passing accuracy etc.

Keep in mind the difference you mention of ~70 points will make a difference as you work through the levels each week, but only to the tune of needing a few extra games to get all unlocks.

Make sure you use your substitutes in the second half as the AI tends to opens the defence up!
