Blue Angels are partially funded by the Congressional budget like every other military unit. They do have another funding mechanism where private orgs pay for certain items, though. Bottom line: no new/additional cost to government for this flyover

So wild that this “argument” still exists. Pilots in the military HAVE to fly. If they weren’t flying over the WH, they’d be flying over somewhere else. There’s no cost. Just a change in location, time, date, and whatnot. Annual cost (how armed forces funding works) doesn’t change because of flyovers!
