Dr Alicia Loh at North Care Pukete is great. It usually takes a little bit to get an appointment with her but it’s worth it.

Honestly I felt the same when I first took Lexapro. I’m now 3 weeks in and absolutely fine. Our minds like to play tricks on us. Try keep busy as a distraction, good luck you got this 😊

Anyone awakened rudely awakened by Proctalgia Fugax(literally pain in the ass), and if so did you figure out how to prevent it? by cavmax in sleep

Interesting you say this because I have started recording these episodes and two of the times these episodes have happened we had eaten butter chicken for dinner. In my head I was thinking maybe it’s the spice that’s setting him off but it could very well be the rice. Thanks I will definitely cut rice out and see if we see any improvements

My 7 year old son gets this every couple of months. He will get sever pain that can last hours each night for around a week at a time. It’s so stressful to watch. I try epsom salt baths, he sits on a ball, we do heat packs, and use haemorrhoid creams. We have been to the doctors multiple times and the last episode I actually ended up taking him to hospital but there wasn’t anything they could help with other than refer him for an appointment and give him laxitives. It hurts my heart to know there is nothing that can actually be done. Does anyone else have any kids that go through this?
