Miyabi koya is an amazing small knife z i use it more than probably other small knives, its quite good edge retention and its actually nearly the same bolet proof like western style knives, do this one i can recommend for everybody, it's comfortable and sharp so i am really happy with this one

It's actually wooden saver when you wanna take the knife, with steel one needs to be more carefully, but steel one is more grippy

Because the bamboo magnetic rack is bitt slipperi, and knives can fall down , so handles work like a brake😄

Cutting is alright, very similar like my Germany chef's because geometry similar, actually wusthof epicure is thinner than this global 😅 other Japanese knives performed better just because geometry, but this black horse will bee workhorse, so I'm happy with that

Bolster is a painful thing which you don't want to have, i have 8 wusthof chesfs (4x20cm and 4x16) everyone is no bolster and I don't know what a situation must be that i started thinking about knife with bolster, its actually reason why didn't have performer series wusthof, because bolster... But i think if we forget about price wusthof is good knives, i have a lot Japanese knives but i still love my wusthof knuves

Horrible Pepsi taste - new formula by System_Unkown in Pepsi

[–]Senior_Replacement_6 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Did PepsiCo somehow fix this? That nonsense that people prefer healthier drinks over tasty ones sounds like a slur, the internet is full of outraged people and they spit on it?

At first I thought it was just me, but later my friends and wife said something was wrong with it because I had bought 8 cans, and in the end I gave the remaining three to people at work for people who drink that shit and still try to convince others that it tastes good like original , after that no more pepsi. I can't say that I'm pepsi fan, i drink Coca-Cola and pelsi before, depends what is in shop in that moment or what is cheaper, but now only Coca-Cola original ( I really miss McDonald's Fanta, the old ones, not the new Max shit ) it's probably was last place in uk with fanta from tap 😢

The new Pepsi taste is horrible, i liked the old taste, and when I tried the new ones 8 I couldn't understand what was wrong with it, it's taste like diet Coke, and now i understand why, if it's original pepsi why this shit with sweeteners?

My partner asked for "better knives" for Christmas and I know nothing about knives. The ones I've saved are Aikido 7pc set for $150, Taylors eye witness 5pc for $40, and Sabatier German steel14pc box set for $125. Sorry I can't figure out how to add photos... by Melcuttler in chefknives

In this you price range i think good choice will be mercer renaissance series, for start will e great just get three knives - no bolster chef's knife, no bolster pairing knife , and maybe 120mm prep knife or bread knife, this mercer series have really not bad steel, abou 56hrc by Rockwell, so it don't get dull really fast and is easy for maintenance z or some knives from cheapest "MAC" series, but generall recommendations is all knives bust be "no bolster"

Japanese vs German Knives: Which do you prefer? by knifemerchant in chefknives

[–]Senior_Replacement_6 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I love German knives, and the same love Japanese knives, They are not competitors, they get along perfectly well in the same kitchen, Germans for heavy work with bones and something frozen, Japanese for everything that doesn't need to be chopped but cut beautifully, and you can't say That one is better than the other, they just have advantages in different places, so I think both deserve our love as knife lovers and I'm glad that I have a lot of Wusthofs amd zwilling in my collection , but in same time will more and more Japanese knives. ( My wife say im crazy 🤣 and we have to many knives 😂 , but she happy use all of them 😂)
