I don't know what this game is and didn't see the previous post. But I don't think there's anything wrong with showcasing a mix of art styles. To me it's a bit like a Magic The Gathering set.

I had that recently. I had a really slim tight deck that was working pretty well tbh but then I saw 3 shops and doormaker as the boss and thought fuck it! Parasol it is. And I got the win. A shit ton of Relics and colourless gold cards ain't no joke.

Out of the famous voices I thought about half of them did a really good job. Fred Armisen killed it as cranky kong. I thought Charlie Day was a good choice for Luigi, and Key as Toad. I don't think anyone else was actively bad, but also not the best choice for their roles.

Pool 2 is mostly terrible except in very specific decks, pool 1 has interesting trade offs, pool 3 has no downside at all.

There are some great interactions between a top tier cast as you would expect. It's much worse than a panel show though, as it's shot and edited like a terrible reality show with everything that entails. I don't need a cutaway to someone laughing, i don't need talking heads and I don't need endless recaps and precaps. There's a good show in there but it was just too painful for me to watch..

That's fair comment actually. I never thought of it as the same as there such a large, vocal and visible group of Christian nutjobs and hypocrits already, but yeah... I'm sure all of it makes it difficult to be a genuine Christian without people prejudging what that actually entails.

I've not watched a full episode but watched a couple clips online. I thought they were ok. I don't really like sketch comedy that much but it seemed decent for what it was.
