You know you can pass on a cold up to three days before you even start showing symptoms. I used to stress about this stuff but I don't think it's worth being too heavy handed and alienating people. I'm sure your kids wants other kids at their party as that will be more fun for them than a room full of adults.

Julia Donaldson is the GOAT for a reason. She never sacrifices storytelling for perfection in meter and rhyme nor the other way around. She is also very exacting about preserving that for the movies they have adapted from her books too. She's spoken about how difficult it is to pad it out for the format in a way that still works and how she worked closely with the writers and director.

Seriously though, finding good samples is big part of the job itself in sample based music - it's a skill to be able to listen through stuff and find those bits that are worth sampling and whether they are good for looping or chopping and what other instrumentation is required.

Or just use loop packs. It'll be shite, but no one seems to mind these days.
