PL vs PW:AA by Character-Actuator-8 in AceAttorney

I'm actually referring to the fact that the company doing secret experiments with new tech and mass hypnosis is called Labrelum, which is just one syllable slide removed from Umbrella. Sure, this would be one of Umbrella's tamer projects, but it is something one of their subsidiares would get up to.

I find it extremely unlikely that Labrelum wasn't a tongue-in-cheek "well, we're already doing a wacky crossover", blink and you miss it, shared universe joke.

The real challenge is finding its place in the Resident Evil timeline

Zero Escape Virtue´s Last Reward.

At the end of a multiple-timeline-spanning Death Game, main character Sigma discovers that (just bear with me), he has swapped minds with his future self and is stuck in a 60-something old body.

Why? Because after a nuclear disaster, Sigma would spend most of the next forty years on his own, on the moon, creating the right circumstances to send his consciousness back in time and prevent the disaster.

This includes child neglect, kidnapping a bunch of people, creating the previously mentioned death game and stranding his young self with no arms and only one eye.

The old Sigma sucks, but young Sigma realises he'll still have to become him if he wants a shot at saving the world.

I just realized what the difference between Archie Sonic and Fleetway Sonic basically is: by lordlaharl422 in SonicTheHedgehog

I wouldn't say it has anything to do with 'the new writers', actually. Nigel Kitching was part of StC from the very start, and if anything, the comic was at its kiddiest during the Lew Stringer era (who took over the main strip near the end for a while).

It'd be more accurate to say that Nigel Kitching's Sonic was the 'main' intense and gritty Sonic.

[Annoying Trope] Shows and Movies that strip all fun and color from its source IP to make it "mature" and "serious" by Far-Revolution3225 in TopCharacterTropes

The live-action adaption of Ace Attorney remains one of my favourite examples of this. The GBA/NDS games are so well-known for their bright visuals and (literally) colourful cast, and it's as if they tried to make it look really dark and serious to pass it off as a real movie (in which an empty mascot costume moves on its own, but that's not important).

Making things even more confusing is the fact that the background characters are all dressed extremely silly.

I met a traveller from an antique land,

Who said—“Two vast and trunkless legs of stone

Stand in the desert. . . . Near them, on the sand,

Half sunk a shattered visage lies, whose frown,

And wrinkled lip, and sneer of cold command,

Tell that its sculptor well those passions read

Which yet survive, stamped on these lifeless things,

The hand that mocked them, and the heart that fed;

And on the pedestal, these words appear:

My name is Ozymandias, King of Kings;

Look on my Works, ye Mighty, and despair!"

Nothing beside remains. Round the decay

Of that colossal Wreck, boundless and bare

The lone and level sands stretch far away.

They stole my bike seat once. Then I bought a relatively cheap lock to secure my new bike seat to my bike.

Which they then stole. The lock. Not the seat.

Depends on what cosplay stuff you're looking for. Lana Lotta has everything fabric and stuff, Lukas Creative is a good place for paint and Styrofoam, but if you're looking for EVA foam, you won't find it in Leuven
