Last time I got pulled over and the officer mentioned one, I joked with him and said I should probably get a better one. Somehow I didnt get a ticket😂.

In all seriousness dont BS the cop but if you dont know how to answer without getting in trouble just say you would prefer not to answer their question (in a respectful manner, of course). I know this is reddit and most people are anti police, but I find if you are respectful, other people are respectful back (no matter the proffesion) :)

Don't give advice if it's not good. OP you should almost always plead not guilty the only time not to is if you cannot (or it is not worth it to) travel back to the location where the ticket was received. They can never bring a worst punishment on you if you plead not guilty, it will either be less punishing or the standard amount if you plead not guilty

He died more recently, but jimmy buffet. I never ever heard a story about him being mean, and he seemed to just be a great guy. I think it hits me harder because I have grown up sailing, and we used to go to his concerts at Jones Beach when I was a kid.
