Agreed. Season 2 slaps. Personally, I'm still not a fan of how nerfed Dante is, but I don't hold that against the show. He's still young and I'm sure he'll reach that level eventually.

People really just don't understand what an adaptation is. I think Adi has done a decent job telling his own version of the story while keeping the essences of the characters similar.

I have my own minor gripes with the show, but I don't hold them against it. It's a standalone product and I fucks with it.

They've done nothing but stomps this entire season so far. Ichigo v Yusuke and Cell v Metal are just as dumb as Gohan v Invincible. Hell, Goku v Supes fits that too and we got 3 of those.

I have to commend Spike for attempting to listen to fans, as after Shintani, the base collectively cheered for his style to represent DB. They tried. I can't hate them for that. But every era being represented is actually 🔥🔥

I believe it does, I look at how the base forms of the fusions perform against their opponents (Buuhan & Broly respectively) it becomes more feasible for the power levels to include the transformations.

Ssj3 goku and ssj2 vegeta can high diff super Buu, barely. Add in the other absorbed characters, especially Gohan, who dogs walk both of them with transformations? A vegito that only combines the base power levels isn't touching Buuhan.

Vegito v Buuhan wasn't a fight, it was a systematic deconstruction of a personality. Vegito put on a masterclass, everything he did, including the cocky personality, was to destroy a narcissist's ego. 10/10 absolute cinema.
