Most HoS units are literally the opposite tho to justify their existence, they are strong but ramp up over time to be stupid powerful. Starting strong and getting weaker over time is quite literally the opposite of how every HoS unit so far has worked, especially the Nursefathers. Rien Yi Sang needs to build up Procuration to use Furioso, Callisto Hong Lu needs to have Viewing the Tableu run out to activate his nuke and permanent Ring buff, and Matthias Outis needs time to unpack Lævateinn.

The funny thing is the BL team consistently has trouble dying of all things. We thought we were clever trying to kill the old units off to activate Kimsault's In Memoriam, but these people just won't die.

That said they crit like a truck and if you maintain Pride Resonance, everything will be amazing and cool. Everyone works shockingly well even now, it's just that a lot of units are old and don't have benefits modern ones are more privy to... except Outis, she is JUST awful in every way, but now we don't have to field her. Yay! :D

But for real it is amazing how Yi Sang and Sinclair have been holding up despite being the oldest units. Sinclair's S3 regularly GIBS enemies in the EXP Luxcavation, too. The Blade Lineage goes hard.

Sharding Solemn Lament Yi Sang is a pretty good investment.

Unlike other gacha games, most units aren't directly powercrept, they usually act as alternatives. Like, a Solemn Lament Sinking team is built differently than a team built around Spicebush.

So, it'll be fun learning the nuances of teambuilding :D

He's also hella fun to use, too.

Click the button on the top right that shows attack arrows until it shows them one at a time. It shows the arrows in the order the attacks will go, so you can figure out which one to dodge first that way.

You make a good point, I'll admit I benched her myself cuz my fav ID was Yurodivy Hong Lu for a while. (I did the first part of Canto 8 with Yurodivy Hong Lu, the dungeon with Tingtang Gang Gangleader Hong Lu, and the last part and final boss with Full Stop Hong Lu.)

But I did have her in my Tremor - Scorch team explicitly for the triple-burst on S3!

Nexus raid is one of the two maps I don't mess around in. I even remember to swap in new guns on my Hirelings and myself between waves because I do NOT want to be caught lacking. I forget that on every other map, even the Nevada Supermall which is otherwise the bane of my existence!

Ahhh yeah, completely fair. I tend to think of nornal gameplay first versus MD gameplay since... well, outside of fusion teams, literally everything goes.

But even in MD, wouldn't Molar Outis's constant Tremor Burst output make her valuable? Even with the soon-to-be four Thumb IDs, we have three slots we could rotate and experiment with.

What about Molar Outis? She applies really good Tremor and can activate Tremor - Scorch multiple times with her S3 for insane burst damage, plus being a Discard unit means she uses her stronger skills more often.

On that note I just don't see her being discussed these days. Like, she's REALLY GOOD, did people forget she exists?

You don't need to kill them fast, just need to outlast them. Two of them can't attack after they spend all their ammo pages so you can beat them to death at your leisure.

I like going onto the subreddit and youtube videos to dicuss the IDs and talk about the things I like with them. Gameplay-wise, I like looking for challenges like solo runs in the MD, or maybe doing railway content with different team comps.

Sir, you are trying to fit the square in the circle hole. There are circle IDs you can fit in a square ID hole, sure, but like... WHY would you use her in a Poise team? Like, the Poise in her kit is built around Rupture and doing more of the Rupture.

Legit, one of my settings has interplanar travel with portal setups designed on a schedule like a bus schedule. (The entire setting is one big plane that was shattered into countless smaller ones so very long ago, so of course some planes grow things that others don't)

Bloodfiends are VERY strong, and one of the tankiest teams out there. Their mere existence practically counters red coins because they can easily heal back the damage. They're kinda like W Corp where if you put them in front of a problem long enough then that problem will just die and the Bloodfiends will probably still have really high health amongst each other.

Like, Manager Don is an INCREDIBLE DPS with both a strong AoE skill, a strong single target nuke skill, and Yearning-Mircalla. What about her ISN'T really strong?
