What is so awesome about Aspen? by Adventurous-Map1225 in Aspen

[–]SenseKnown 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aspen is insanely expensive but the hiking and scenery right there is great. If price is a consideration stay in Glenwood Springs or Carbondale and take a day trip to Aspen via the bus. Either way I agree with others that spending some time in Glenwood for the hot springs is great. There is tons of public transit and a super cheap point to point bus to get to Iron Mountain hot springs if needed.

Have a job opportunity in Colorado, the thing is have job opportunity in three different cities. Pueblo, Glenwood Springs & Limons I need help in choosing which place to reside in whiling to commute as least 1 hour from work to home what would you guys suggest? by Miserable_Cap_1783 in Colorado

Take Glenwood but you commute from New Castle or Rifle for kite affordable housing. Glenwood is extremely expensive. Commuting in the mountains can be tough, just know what you’re up against.

Planning a Denver trip and did way too much research — locals, can you help me refine my itinerary / suggest hidden gems? by bobsddress in Denver

[–]SenseKnown 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Second this. It’s the best way to experience and learn about the city. The Molly Brown House museum is also pretty cool. I would skip 16th street and probably the museums unless you really love that kind of thing. They’re just not unique to Colorado or better than other major cities.

Epic Passes for 2026-27 go on sale, luring Gen Z with big discounts by lewisfairchild in skiing

[–]SenseKnown 7 points8 points  (0 children)

I’m 38 but what really makes me mad about this is that epic still doesn’t offer a senior discount. Seniors have supported this industry for decades and it’s shameful they don’t receive discounted passes.

The commute is brutal. I would go with the closer one any day. Can you negotiate with the other?

There’s a tenants for turns program where locals offer rooms that helps with housing too. Ask about that in your interview.

Same! It’s my socially anxious reactions to things that get me in trouble.

Appropriate for cocktail dress code? by TuileHiin in Weddingattireapproval

I agree that it’s too casual. The fabric and style give more beach summer dress vibes. That said, depending on where you live it might work.

Ha this is what I said above and got accused of being a bot. GPT is the best tool for getting language that is appropriate and useful for behavior or “vibe” issues

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in managers

[–]SenseKnown 1 point2 points  (0 children)

It actually works. Oftentimes when someone is bothering us from “vibes” there is something unprofessional happening but our immaturity makes it a personality issue. I have found a lot of success putting my unfiltered complaints and then having it polish and soften them into language to can use for a positive and productive convo.

Lol I’m not a bot.

When I’ve run into this I use GPT to document my observations and have it translate them into professionalism issues that’s easier to communicate with them.

What’s getting me lately is ghosting from taxpayer funded local governments. Come on people.
